I agree. Looking forward to having full boost again. Maybe time for a tune..? Probably not until I get the supporting mods so for now I’ll just focus on reliability. Other than the low boost at the end (after the Colorado mountains I may add) the car did a 4000 mile road trip out west and back...
Looks great and no more noisemaker! Old pipe had a split on the underside causing low boost (no underfoot codes, but the BOV’s were cycling under heavy load and lean codes) thanks to Zpak for the hookup I’m much happier than paying for a stock or aftermarket pipe.
Does it matter @SM105K and @Texas Marauder if the MAP sensor orientation on the EPP pipe is horizontal? On the stock pipe it’s screwed in vertically. The car is stock and I don’t want the sensor to freak out as I’m not looking to try and tune it rn.
Does anyone have a CAC to throttle body tube? Mine is leaking oil and causing high LTFT’s. I’m really not wanting to pay $200 for a new one. The noisemaker delete pipe P/N is aa5z6f073c. If anyone has one LMK.
I have a set of hyper chrome 20” rims that came on my 2013 SHO when I bought it. After doing some research they were a factory only option compared to the brushed silver finish (dealer ordering) for the 2010-2012 years, and they are in good condition with no peeling/fading. The pirelli tires...
I concur with the do motorcraft if it’s a major part. I did my steering rack and OEM was $1,100 and aftermarket was $900. Some items it’s not worth it but the big ticket ones there will be a difference.
I’m not sure if the modules are all compatible within the steering column/abs/TC system to play nice with a PP rack. It’s not just tighter gearing it’s programmed with different ratios so you would have to consult a dealer or someone who knows IDS to know if it would communicate the different...
I replaced rack w a OEM one recently and to anyone who needs to have theirs done, go with motorcraft either new or reman. Junkyard/ebay or amazon no name brands aren’t worth throwing money into a shredder. You need to have a new rack programmed (preferably with IDS) and a steering wheel angle...
Yeah I asked it to clean up the lettering and put the SHO logo in the right spot but it couldn’t figure that part out lol Microsoft still has some work to do
