    New TB to CAC tube

I agree. Looking forward to having full boost again. Maybe time for a tune..? Probably not until I get the supporting mods so for now I’ll just focus on reliability. Other than the low boost at the end (after the Colorado mountains I may add) the car did a 4000 mile road trip out west and back...

    New TB to CAC tube

Looks great and no more noisemaker! Old pipe had a split on the underside causing low boost (no underfoot codes, but the BOV’s were cycling under heavy load and lean codes) thanks to Zpak for the hookup I’m much happier than paying for a stock or aftermarket pipe.

    Good to hear thank you

    New TB to CAC tube

Does it matter @SM105K and @Texas Marauder if the MAP sensor orientation on the EPP pipe is horizontal? On the stock pipe it’s screwed in vertically. The car is stock and I don’t want the sensor to freak out as I’m not looking to try and tune it rn.

    New TB to CAC tube

Is that bung something that can be plugged and sealed easily?

    New TB to CAC tube

Does anyone have a CAC to throttle body tube? Mine is leaking oil and causing high LTFT’s. I’m really not wanting to pay $200 for a new one. The noisemaker delete pipe P/N is aa5z6f073c. If anyone has one LMK.

Hyper Chrome wheels (possibly looking to sell)

I have a set of hyper chrome 20” rims that came on my 2013 SHO when I bought it. After doing some research they were a factory only option compared to the brushed silver finish (dealer ordering) for the 2010-2012 years, and they are in good condition with no peeling/fading. The pirelli tires...

    Coolant Temp Seems Off

These cars do have the radiator, condenser, and the CAC all jammed together with no easy way to clean them. Check for buildup after 200k+ miles

    When is Motorcraft Necessary?

I concur with the do motorcraft if it’s a major part. I did my steering rack and OEM was $1,100 and aftermarket was $900. Some items it’s not worth it but the big ticket ones there will be a difference.

    2013 Steering Rack Upgrade

I’m not sure if the modules are all compatible within the steering column/abs/TC system to play nice with a PP rack. It’s not just tighter gearing it’s programmed with different ratios so you would have to consult a dealer or someone who knows IDS to know if it would communicate the different...

Power Steering Rack OEM or Aftermarket?

I replaced rack w a OEM one recently and to anyone who needs to have theirs done, go with motorcraft either new or reman. Junkyard/ebay or amazon no name brands aren’t worth throwing money into a shredder. You need to have a new rack programmed (preferably with IDS) and a steering wheel angle...

Heard grinding, Only To Find This Hanging Down

That would be me lol and Irish pride gave me a P/N but it’s a cover for the fuel lines apparently according to him and his schematics

Decided to ask AI to transform my car into a poster

Yeah I asked it to clean up the lettering and put the SHO logo in the right spot but it couldn’t figure that part out lol Microsoft still has some work to do

Yeah I should’ve dialed it back a tad bit I liked the reflections from the sunset

And this is what it came up with, not bad tbh. Let me know your favorite 1 is left 4 is right

    Power steering rack part compatibility

I agree I just can’t hold a candle to if the police interceptor versions had extra beefed-up components versus the regular racks that say they’re compatible for all trims such as the fact that the hot pipes on the police interceptor have the aluminum heat reflecting the performance pack PTU and...

    Power steering rack part compatibility

Also the latest iteration they had spanning the most years for the early model cars was 09/2012-2015 build dates. So they eventually settled on something. And maybe some of the different build date parts were due to the recall itself and they were trying new things internally to try and stop it...

    Power steering rack part compatibility

Because all of the modules have to handshake with the PSCM for it to work properly due to it being a safety system. The hardware has to match between the PCM, SCCM, PSCM, etc. 2012 was the year they switched to the facelift design and changed the racks design as the early 2009-2011 build date...

    Power steering rack part compatibility

I am currently in the middle of this headache with my SHO (2013) and what I have learned is the PSCM is a flashable module meaning the firmware and the AsBuilt programming data can be altered as long as the part numbers are compatible. But that would need to be confirmed by someone who’s done it...
