I promised Tom that I would put this up on the forum so here it goes.
What I am doing is putting the SHO motor in a vehicle worthy of its power and speed. The best platform for that I have found is the Lotus Seven, known to the backyard builder as the LoCost. The Lotus Seven, for those...
Well I've noticed that. What I was trying to do was potentially replace the SHO flywheel with one from a mustang or other ford engine so that I could get a larger clutch with the correct input size and spline for a T-5. And there is a more extensive selection of clutches there.
Was wondering if anybody knew if the crank to flywheel bolt pattern is a common ford bolt pattern or if it is SHO only. Hoping to use a lighter/different clutch system on a rwd application.
Thanks for any help
