Timing cover had a decent oil leak so that's why it was done a bit early, took the chance to do everything while re-sealing that.     Tune was August of 2023, first noticed the smoke October 2024. Only thing in between was a group road trip where I beat the **** out of it, no other mods or anything. I don't currently have a catch can, but it's been recommended in this thread so I will put it on my to do list!

    I would just do a new one. I've replaced the passenger one on each of my Tauruses now. Only like $30 and super easy, staring right at you when you take the glove box off.

    I was seeing lots on shudder fix but most people had other symptoms. Good to hear your issue was similar, I will keep it in mind! It dumped about 8 inches of snow here today so I won't get the chance to test any WOT anytime soon lol

    Ford Racing 5.3 L crate motor with a 4 L whipple, dyno sheet he had put down 1500 hp. His son has a matching one that makes 1400 and they usually go to shows and park together around here but only the dad could make this show! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
