    Battlesho build thread

Funny coming back and reading this thread, since then I've been in a few different cars and moved from SC to WA. And I'm heavily considering selling the Q60 I'm in now and getting another SHO, because nothing I've had since has touched the taurus when it comes to road trips. So, this is what...

Anyone know the dimensions of the radiator fan assy?

This is the one for a 2015 SHO but I assume they're all the same. Does anyone know the length and width of it? Found it, 30.25x18.6

    SHO police interceptor?

Yup they just stuck the badge on there. I did it too, cuts down on tailgaters significantly lol.

My new Conti DSW06 Extremes ride funny

Continental has some noticeable quality control issues, you may have a dud in there too. I worked in tire manufacturing for 15 years, continental was one of the brands that made good products if you got good ones, but the cq rate was pretty high. Much better than the chinese brands though.

Helmholtz resonators: Which one(s) and where do you install? [2019 SHO PP + MRT]

Helmholtz resonators are huge in the Q60 world, where I am now. They make an incredible difference when done right. As to the X pipe question I'll put in my experience, on the SHO I had the exhaust exit behind the front wheels for a while. It went from cats to X to 90° bends and out just...

    Push bar?!

I've got a build thread, but the wheels are some dodge factory 17's, and suspension was lifted 2" with explorer strut spacers up front and ots coil spacers in the rear. EPP intake, Southside transmission mounts, exhaust was cats to X to front tires, and I'm sure some other stuff. Thinking...

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

Lmao that reminded me I'd get a backfire on the Ortiz tune if I lifted right after the 2-3 shift. It was when I had the exhaust exiting behind the front tire so it was pretty loud.

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

My first post here was asking for help with their tune and being told by everybody that I was doing something wrong because LMS was the best tuner ever. That didn't last lmao. The only tuner I've had good luck with was MPT back in the mustang days, the BAMA tune made it run leaner than stock...

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

Damn, after the shit time I had with LMS and GH ortiz was like a dream. Guess I got out before they fell apart too lmao. Maybe I'll give AJP a go this time, I've only ever heard good things about his tunes.

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

I definitely missed something if Ortiz is even below LMS. What's going on there?

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

We got snowed hard with that lmao. Back when I bought it the only options were them and unleashed, I can't see how they do it now when you're choosing between a device for one company vs one for 4+

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

With LMS mine wouldn't even shift sometimes. It would bounce off the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift.

Which tuner has the best transmission tuning?

So I've been out of the SHO world for a few years, been in a Q60 for a while, but I'm looking at going back to the SHO with a later model if I can find one. My last one was a '13, and I'm not sure if there's much improved since then but I'll see what I can find. When it does happen I know all...

New owner: 2019 Taurus SHO PP, black [Los Angeles].

Borla gave me a very deep sound, and side exit behind the front wheels was the best sounding with least drone and no rasp (short pipes make a huge difference) but if you're lowering that can be a problem.

2018 Granatolli exhaust cutout install Thread.

Tons of drone with it exiting under the car though. Great at anything except cruising. Idle/parking lots it sounds great, and flat out it's not really noticable, but on the highway or something it's pretty bad obviously.
