Alright so I have a 1991 and on my way home from work there was a thumping that started coming from the drivers side wheel well. It is especially bad when I take left hand turns. I thought maybe my tire had a bulge or something however the tire is in great shape. I can feel it in the wheel...
So I am taking a turn and my car dies. I try to start it and it turns over and gets spark but wont run. I push it to the side of the road and try messing with the fuel cut off switch which seems to be engaged but I cant get it to release. I call the tow truck and as he gets it on the bed I see a...
Alright here is the problem. My blower fan seems to only work when it is turned all the way up. Even when the auto temp is activated the fan will kick on and off only on high. When I do switch the system to defrost or any other setting and turn the fan up all the lights go dim while it switches...
That is all understandable but out of the last 7 post i still do not have an answer as to what the best angle of attack is to get the heater hoses out. Thats what I want to hit first, I have these hoses in hand and would like to get them replaced then check out the other hoses as some have...
I agree with replacing them all but, I kinda need to figure out the easiest way to do the main problem at the moment. I would like to get to that first and then work from there.
Upon further inspection of the car I have found the leak to be dripping from near the back of the bay, somewhere both behind and above the oil pan. I cant seem to see it for sure however is seems to pour out of there and then drip on everything on its way down.
Alright after installing a new starter and then changing my oil I have run into another problem. While driving to school I notice that there was a large amount of smoke behind me when driving, when I came to a stop there was smoke coming out from underneath the hood. I turned that car around and...
I plan on taking all the connections off from the solenoid switch and sanding them down. I also tried jump starting the battery only to have the jumper cables get extremely hot not to mention all the other wires leading to the switch. I plan on checking all my grounds when doing the work as well
Fair enough, and makes sense. At this point I think that I will just let the car sit and do all the work at once. I really hope that upon the completion of this my car will be back to normal, all I want is the thing to start and run for me as it did before
