probably less than that. out here pristine book is just under 2k and mine has 172,000 miles on it.

i didn't buy it to run tens, or skid pad with an elise, but i want it to be faster than a lightly modded mustang or camaro. i've become addicted, not so much to the speed or acceleration or handling, i've owned cars and own a bike that can easily do all three better, i'm addicted to the look of 'wtf? a taurus?' on the faces of mustang, camaro, monte carlo and impala ss, focus SVT, *insert other cars here* owners faces and my friends when i kick down 3rd gear and pull away from them on the freeway, or when some guy on an offramp thinks he's gonna beat me to the bottle neck and gives it everything he's got and i still pass him. thats what makes it worth it to me. this car is gonna by my daily driver, but its gonna be a project too. i'll have another car down the road that is made to cook tires and cost an arm and a leg to insure, but i'll still have this car for the A to B ride as well.

Did you not read what I posted in that other thread?

I have personally seen a number of 400+hp SHO's running stock ignition components (sans plugs).

What do you expect out of "better" plugs, wire, and coil??? Just like the MSD, they just make you poorer. If you've got money to burn, donate it to the forum. There's a donate button at the top of every page.

My last dyno session in the spring with my 3.0L, I was running the stock ignition system except cooper plugs. 485.7 wHP ... don't know what it has now since adding the N20 system.

He's put alot of time and money in that car. Had the land speed record or maybe still does for his class. Don't think it's a daily driver.

Yep, still hold a record, but not at my best speed of 171.677.

Here is a recent picture of my SHO in the parking lot at work:
