ATTENTION JLROS75 - Jose L Rosales

On 7/25/08 you accepted my Paypal payment of $130 shipped for two 95 Gen 2 spindles/knuckles with ABS sensors & 88k miles , and a pair of FN74 brackets. Despite emails, ***, and your promises, you never have shipped the parts.

Posts made in the Classifieds after my complaint to you from Danz13, Quicksilver93, and SHOZ123 indicate the same.

It's been a while since I've had to file a PayPal dispute, but presuming it still has to be initiated within 30 days you may want to consider getting that ball rolling if you don't have your merchandise in hand by Friday.

Good luck!

I sent him a PM to see what response I get. Before we jump the gun let me see what I hear back from him. I'm not saying don't open disputes with Paypal, just that we shouldn't send the lynch mob after him just yet.

Could you let me know if you hear anything back? I was interested in purchasing something he was selling in his thread but am hesitant to buy if he isn't shipping the items. It does seem strange though as I actually purchased an ATX cooler he was offering in this same thread and it showed up pretty quickly without issue.

Absolutely and without a doubt. I also linked him to this thread so he may respond directly.

I was not going to post about JLROS75 because I filed a dispute and got my money back. I also know that it does not make the situation any better but he also promised to sell me those spindles for $85 shipped and accepted that money on 7/23/08. He never responded to the paypal dispute and I ended up getting my money back. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and thought that maybe he just got caught up with life but now I see that he promised the parts to someone else as well.

I got a response back, below is a synopsis of what he told me.

Apparently all or most of the parts that were sold were packaged up and dropped off at a UPS store for shipping. He said that someone he knew worked at the store and that he was supposed to ship the boxes out but apparently the guy he knew was put into jail for some reason unknown to jlros75. He said that he is currently out of town but would go to the UPS store to talk to the owner and to see what can be done when he returns home on Friday. Additionally, he says that he's not trying to rip anyone off and was caught off guard by the whole mess but he hopes that he will have everything fixed within a week.

Thanks for that. I have upgraded my Paypal dispute to claim status since he has not bothered to respond to the dispute.

Paypal decided in my favor but cannot recover the $130 from this SCAMMER. Next step, disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Avoid this guy.
