It may be too bright, in fact.

A young Honda lovin' friend of mine turned me onto these bulbs at http://www.autolumination.com, and at first I was skeptical given my past experience with LED bulbs.

And rightly so, since the bulbs are $25.99.

Each. :oogle:

I did like, however, that although they were white as running lights:

They turn amber when used as turn signals:

At least, it would earn some bonus points with the local fuzz if it caught any attention.

So I took a chance and placed the order, and they arrived today. Of course, like any other guy with a new toy, I ran to the garage and installed them, half expecting to be severely disappointed.

I was definitely not disappointed.

These things are friggin' bright!! In fact, I think they're too bright, and I should've probably ordered the 20 LED version instead of the 30 SMT LED version I got.

I already have the Grote LED flasher for my tail lights, but if you're getting these I'd recommend the grote flasher. And unplugging your LOM to subdue the Lamp Out warning that LED anything invariably causes.

If you want to just stick with one color like Amber or White or Red (for the rear), they have those bulbs also. :thumb:

holy ****, that *is* bright. I might have to consider those.

Are those the same bulbs as the brake light bulbs? They might work quite well for that.

edit: 3157 bulbs, that is, not those specific LED bulbs.

edit2: oh never mind, I didn't communicate at all what I was trying to say... I meant the red versions of those LED towers... they may work pretty well as brake lights.

Yes, 3157 is used in the brake lights. Red would be the ideal color to use.

actually red/orange LEDs look the most "stock". red LEDs give you the wrong hue when it shines through the red lens:thumb:

That "conscious stream" thing only works in theater rehearsal, man. Perhaps if you used some more punctuation, I might be able to translate what you said into actual English...

I haven't thought this out too much because it hurts my brain. However, the parking lights blink differently (in tandem or alternating) with the fronts depending on whether or not the headlights are on. I'm not sure where the signal is switched so that could be your issue. Do the colors change if you turn your headlights on?

Then again, if you bought the same bulbs that Hamal did and his work fine, I don't know where the issue lies unless yours are defective.

heres a pic of them . whats weird is if i only put them like half way in the bulb socket to were there loose, they stay lit up white, but as soon as i fully snap them in there amber during park?? maybe they wired them wrong?? And no they stay the same when the headlmaps are on, the only diff from mine to his is that he has the SMT and i have LED but ....
