I was parts hunting when I came to LKQ parts-u-pull-it yard. The yard is on 118th street close to I-275. I have the address of the place and pictures of the cars. One is a 93 ATX and the other is a 92 MTX. The yard has no inventory so you'll have to go there personally. Both cars are in reletively good shape. Nothing has been taken off of these vechicles except both exhaust systems were taken off each car. The 93 has chrome slicers with 3 of its four center caps( How rare!). The Well-worn interiors have nothing to offer except the 93 has a sun roof. How do I post pics of these cars???? I wish I still had my GenII's because these cars are prime for the pickins engines, trannies, and parts!!!! Oh, my!!!!!

go to a site like tinypic.com. Host it on there and then copy and paste the link it gives you for websites and forums and put it here in a post.

Thanks. If anyone is parts hunting, These SHO donors are prime for the O.R. table ie. someones' garage; not a car crusher. its sad to see that nobody else values these unique pieces of sedan history. Come and get em!---Alaric

Unfortunatly most salvage yards only stock cars 10-12 years old and newer as the demand for parts for the older cars grows slimmer and slimmer. I am actually suprised they were not brought in and immediatly crushed. You cannot find a gen 1 or 2 around here and a year ago they brought in a gen 3 and flattened it within a day. The salvage yards around here will not really even sell you a car either, they want to solely part it out or crush it...makes sense for insurance reasons I guess- no liability incase something happened.

yeah I tried to buy a donor gen 1 plus before from a junkyard.. they weren't having it no matter what the price

it had good body sans one fender, badass black interior, nice looking motor..... woulda been nice to have for parts

I haven't even seen a gen 1 SHO in the junkyard in such a long time... **** I barely see slo's there now......... its probably been like 3 years since I seen a MTX there

its a shame its hard to even find junkyard parts now.......

if u like these cars use em now... **** in 2-3 years even it might be a totally different ball game trying to find parts.... your only luck will be on here with people parting out cars

I will post pics this afternoon. Its a shame with parts. I saw the price list. Its like $250+ for an engine, $100 for the intake and all wiring, and $200 for a tranny. That's practially an entire SHO.Id shit if one of those cars were there because of a failed cam or crank sensor... I myself am looking for junk gen3's.---Alaric

huh ? that sho only needs a paint from what I see.....

only 2 reasons to part out a sho.

1-You see the asphalt when you lift the mat because of the rust (my green beater)

2-You total it in an accident over 100 WITH at least 3x lateral 360s.

There were no structural compromises or major damage on either car. I have to post pics of the 92 blue ATX. the 92 I saw had a left-rear door that had a little damage. Other than that both cars' doors opened, engine and tranny in tact, hood gas struts worked, and the exhausts were both removed at the header. I will post those pics soon.---Alaric

That sucks, there used to be sho's all over my local yards, now there are none. I found a 93k mile 93mtx one time and didn't take a thing off it. I didn't realize what it really was at the time. Now that I look back I wish I grabbed a lot off it, rod shifter and especially the transmission. The 5 speed trannies are getting harder and harder to find especially lower mileage. Save that tranny from the crusher!
