they look in box, see 2 calipers, give u back money, u leave........

Sorry, but doing that is simply wrong. In the end the (re)manufacturer simply passes on the lost product-revenue to subsequent buyers. So in the end, you end-up paying it one way or another.

Yeah, that website was a casualty of ****'s most recent "how can I destroy my public image any better" campaign (read here about ****'s latest brain-child) to force all non-dealer websites to remove ****'s name from their websites or website addresses, or just about anything else.

I use to have a link to another site that sold the Bullit calipers, but that went with my laptop when it was stolen over Thanksgiving . . . .

I'll see what I can scare-up, but no promises . . . .

This is very common these days. Specialized Bicycle co has been doing the same thing the last few years.

Wow, way to go there, Hudson Hawk. :ohreally: It's crap like that that causes the price of parts to go up, or reduce the availability of reman parts.

lol you act like thats bad.... you act like the companies actually inspect and know where every core is.... some of the practices companies do, and good companies also... are outrageous...... something like that is damn near church like.....

now taking cores from other sales and trying to sell them as new..... now thats something to get upset over... and it happens a lot.....

So it's ok to do something wrong, because the company may do something that is "more" wrong? Great logic...

Swapping the wrong cores is probably one of the reasons why 96 brackets were so hard to get a few years ago. Buy a "96+ loaded caliper with bracket" and you'd wind up with the 94/94 style.
