The purpose of this thread is to list the quickest verified 1/4 mile times of SHO's and SHO powered vehicles.

The rules;
You must have a timeslip or video in which the ET is clearly visible.
The vehicle must have an SHO powerplant in it, whether V-6 or V-8.
That pretty much covers it!

Submit your entry below. Post an image of the timeslip. Post links to videos.

I will update the thread as the information comes in. If it is required, the categories can be broken down further/differently.

I have added some of the basic info about the vehicles. For more details, view the posts below.

* If you no longer have a timeslip/video and there are extenuating circumstances PM for discussion.

Are you accounting for altitude?

The only thing we could do is correct to sea level. It has been suggested that the conversion tables are not terribly accurate though. Being as there are quite a number of folks at higher altitudes, maybe we will end up adding a seperate category.

For the Nitrous...

Jimmy (shoracer14) ran a 14.0 at IRP during the convention with just a 75 shot, i have it on video, will have it up in a few days here. Jimmy might have a time slip too

Well, I can't prove it right now because I can't find my time slips (they're still packed in a box) but there are numerous people who can verify for me until I can find them and post it. Count mine in if you like, I won't be offended if you don't because of the lack of proof.

NA class because this was without nitrous.

14.62 @ 97.3 mph - 2.11 60 ft.

(I had a run at 14.52 run the same day also but I lost that slip somewhere.)

I saw both jims and beths runs.
I also have jim's on video and I know he has a time slip. He has just exhaust and 75shot. And it was on a 95 degree day.

There are many well documented runs around. I have no problem adding them to the list since many of them were long ago and the timeslips are probably long gone. Prime examples are Josh T's 12 sec runs, Mark N's 12 sec N2O and 13 sec NA runs, Tyler's 13 sec N20 runs, Ron Porter's low 14 sec Gen 3 run(s), etc.

To add these, I just need to be refreshed on the details. I know several of these are on dragtimes.com and will transfer them over. At the moment dragtimes is not responding.

To add to the proof list, if several people back up the run it is in.

Thats alright. I have seen both videos, I just did not recall the details.

Do you have the slip for your 14.8 NA run? Everyone is welcome to submit to more than one category.

If this catches on strong, it may go beyond a top ten list and become something of a 1/4 mile SHO registry.

the sea level conversion table is total BS,i have had discussions with
other SHO guys that think if they were at sea level there stock SHO would
run low-mid 14's all the time,i say we stick to proof only,no slip=no post

Here's my slip showing my 14.71 @ 95.75 & a 2.339 60' from Indy in 95 degree weather. I'm a 91 w/ a 3.2 w/bolt ons, but NO cams or the like (see cardomain for all my mods) BTW, that's a full weight car w/ nitto 555s up front for traction. :thumb:

Texantony has run a 13.1 @122

The best time I have gotten is 15.0 @110 and that was a long time ago!
