Hi everyone. 2011 SHO non-PP with 161k on the clock. Trans last serviced at 150k with correct Motorcraft fluid (1x drain/fill). Fluid came out looking great, fluid still looks great.
Recently replaced front lower control arms (including bushings and ball joints), shocks, and sway bar links on both sides. No more clunks in the front end! Hooray!
But now... it seems like when I'm turning, say the car is in first or maybe has gotten to second gear (low power application), it feels like there's a miss or a tire way out of round or otherwise a pulsation until the wheels are straight. If I gas it while going straight ahead, I'll still sometimes feel the pulsation, but not as pronounced as when turning. I've read oodles of threads on here, and I'm torn between torque converter and CV shafts. Wondering if maybe when doing the work on the front end I may have overextended one or both of them... no noise when turning, just the weird feeling when applying power. No codes, no lights, runs great otherwise. Shifts are firm, no hunting for RPM... I'm not wanting to throw parts at it, but would be interested in ideas y'all might have.
Thanks!
