Nobody wants to mess with catless anymore. It’s not worth the fines and BS from the EPA which is working hard to **** our industry. People don’t realize that the EPA like the IRS is one those really powerful three letter agencies. With all that said, just get catted because they work just as good.
That and I wouldn't want to be responsible for getting a tuner shut down, LMS being the exception.

Thanks for your advice on my car. I just posted its detailed outcome from the misfires, probably will never happen to another SHO owner with all that was involved. But all advice always helps , never hurts.

Thinking about it more. The best thing you can do to make any exhaust on the car sound better is run an ethanol tune. Definitely makes my car sound deeper and growlyer even with my mufflers on. When you switch back to 93 tune you can tell how stupid it sounds on just gas

I figured it was just my butt dyno telling my ear dyno that there is a difference. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the car sounds more angry on the ethanol.

Alcohol burns slower than gasoline. So it's burning for a longer time after the exhaust valve opens. So likely the sound difference you're hearing. Look at the exhaust of nitro methane drag cars. As an example, at first the 426 Hemi was considered a drag racing dud until it was figured out huge amounts of Advance timing was necessary with alcohol fuel mix burn time.
