Not very familiar with the v8s. Although, I have found one in a self serve junkyard. Figured id offer my findings up to the community. If you need any parts, just message me what you need and what you're willing to pay. Ill pull them and ship them to you. 20210916 15462620210916 15460320210916 15461120210916 15450920210916 154534

That's a great find. Parts are so difficult to find. Some parts never even made it to an aftermarket replacement option making them unobtainable for a while now.

Heard that. I know finding parts for my 2nd gen is harder than ***-wee Herman in a movie theater. & there were even less 3rd gens made. Thats why I figured it was only right to try and get the parts to the community before they crush it.

Cant own a 1st, 2nd or 3rd gen SHO if you arent (or know) a person with a lil fabrication skill and a lot of creativity.

Whats it worth to you? Pulling it should be easy, but its a 40 minute drive for me 1 way. If there is a couple more things you'd like me to get while I'm there it might make it more worth it for the both of us.

If im driving out there and pulling parts i need $200. Thinking about just buying the whole motor and parting it out.

There are other things that are also hard to come by. Sarc struts that are still good. Even a subframe for a swap into an earlier car. these are things that are very specific, including the engine, that may need some storage space to live while requests come in. Parts are hard to find as are people needing them. Transmission is also a high failure item at this age. Not sure what made this thing scrapyard vehicle.

Well, there was a cane in the trunk. So I'd imagine it was an older persons car. Thats a plus. There was an alarming amount of rust falling from the rear undercarriage. My money says thats why it was in the scrapyard. Suspension looked to be in rough shape.

Storage space is not an issue, I have a gutted 15 passenger van dedicated to SHO stuff. Have 1000lbs or more of miscellaneous gen2 stuff + a gen 2 3.0l engine. Plenty of space left to spare too.

That green painted trunk insert between the back-up lights cost a small fortune when last I checked.

Car was probably a camfailure.

Front and rear bumper covers are unique to the V8 SHO product line.
Rocker panel covers are SHO only.
Exhaust Tips are pure unobtainium.
Football is for 96/97 only but still getting hard to come by.
Drivers' side wiper arm for windshield.
Power antenna.
CD Changer in the trunk.
Dash cluster with 150 mph speedo.
ABS Pump.
SAI Pump and especially that damn relay !
Computer in Firewall. Probably AWL1 or AWL2. Kinda like Type 'O' Blood. Runs ok on anything.

Are these items that you would like me to go get for you? Or are these suggestions as to what I should grab to throw into the stockpile?
