I bought my '92 SHO new with 26 miles on it. Now things are going wrong that I can't find in my old Taurus manual; a service manual would be much better. However, all the manuals I can find online are very expensive. Does anyone have a digital copy of the 92 SHO service manuals?

Some things I specifically need: complete vacuum routing, instructions for dash R&R, window regulator replacement, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Gene

The 89-95 cars have alot of overlap and plenty with regular Taurus. I would get the blue 1990 book for general Taurus repair, the red 89 sho specific sho stuff book and the EVTM from either the 90 or 91 I linked to. Ebay is usually the place to find these outside of here.

Thanks for the info, but I'd already looked at those items. I know there's a LOT of overlap. I was hoping for digital files. With those I can expand any provided photos for a closer look at what I might need. Perhaps there aren't any digital files of these manuals because of copyright protection? I don't know, but thought by now digital copies would be available.

There are cd roms on ebay for the service manuals. I did not see one for the evtm but I wasn't looking that thoroughly. I love the paper ones because I'm old and like it in my hand on on the ground to look at while I'm wrenching.

looks like there is a 1992 maintenance manual on CD, but not the EVTM. There is a hard copy version though

I have a 92 evtm, got it for 10 bucks recently, but im not going to part with it. However, if you wanna pay whatever the cost is to have staples, office depot, etc make a copy of it Id be willing to takr the time to go and have it done.

Here's the full 1993 Helms manual in print. The web site is very slow, so you might navigate to just get the section PDF you want or even individual PDF pages.

Here's an archive snapshot of all the leaked 92-2002 Ford CDs. The torrents are no longer seeded by anybody though. Due to age, you'd have to install and run the software in a Windows XP virtual machine, and on discs after 96, set the computer clock to within 3 months after the release date for it to not be "expired".

For dash removal etc, there are better tutorials: http://yamahasho.com/
