This forum has provided me a wealth of knowledge and the enjoyment of camaraderie with like minded people. On the give and take of the knowledge exchange I know I’ve done more taking than giving. Many tips gained here I’ve taken with me to other vehicles. Such as FORScan. Can’t wait to get rid of the double honk! I’ve been on other FoMoCo model forums that are not nearly as welcoming as this group. And for all of that, I thank you. I’ve traded my bull for a pony. And a fully loaded one at that. So I probably won’t be around much going forward. I’m not a major contributor so there won’t be anything missed. I get that. But I did want to say thank you and wish you all continued good luck with one helluva a car!

Very nice ride. PP1 or PP2? Is that a shark fin on the roof ? Shame you decided to give up the SHO. I purchased my S550 in 2019, but kept the SHO too. Can't have too many fun rides lol. Good luck and check out this site. www.mustang6g.com/forums/

Thanks. I’ll check that out. PP2 was discontinued for 2021. I thought about keeping it. But we only have 2 garage stalls. Momma wasn’t having her Explorer Sport parked outside. I didn’t want to park the SHO outside either!

Could be worse. Had this Magnum and traded it in way back... it then showed up at the stereo shop I was working at trashed.. Always wished it sold to someone that didn't live so close!! Congrats on the Mustang!View attachment 18998
Thanks! I can relate. I sold a small Toyota pick up truck to a neighbor’s sister. Nothing special. But it was old and immaculate inside and out. Low mileage. I ran into her once just as she was stepping out and was able to glance inside. It was very clear that the last person to vacuum it was me, 2 years ago, and she hadn’t used a trash can since she owned it. Thankfully, she moved away!

Don't git rid of them, just park them and put a cover on it. When you get old like me you'll have some sitting around that might be worth something. Im a mopar guy but have a few fords in the closet.

I was hoping my girls would volunteer for that. However one dated a TWG (tactical white guy) and got all into off roading and mud bogging. First time she came home from that I thought he beat her up rolling around in the dirt. Now she’s all into 37’s, winches, lifts, ARs and blowing stuff up….”those cars are so 80’s daddy” :shame:

Neah if I sold that car around here some 16yo kid would wrap it around a poll. I couldn’t imagine the feeling. It would be like someone shooting my dog. Oddly I’m starting to become fond of the Taurus too.

That 3.5 EB With a tune and a few mods was no slouch. She’d move out for sure. It was always fun to dust people in a car they thought was fast, in a car that they thought was a joke! And very comfortable. I told my wife a day before I traded the SHO, “I kinda wish I’d done it the other way. Bought the Mustang first, got that out of my system, then the SHO.” But the Mustang is here to stay!

And about the “‘those cars as so ‘80’s daddy” With one big, big exception. They actually have H.P. and perform the roll they look!
