Making room for custom crash bar. If demand is there may get a batch made up once the car is running and could be used as a jig. That and putting new upper trans mount on the car

Wierd.

I guess drag racing has different rules. In SCCA, and other road course racing, the battery has to be relocated to the trunk.
I didn't want to take weight from the front but I know this probably skirts the rules even in drag racing but I have the ability to swap it around anyways. The car isn't a purpose built drag car and plan is to be overall street machine so not a specific purpose in mind but the most optimal configuration for what I am trying to do

Couple cool notes from the last couple days...

My turbine housings and exhaust manifolds plus some other stuff has been received by my ceramic coater. Ended up going more local and staying in Missouri with performance coatings plus out of Joplin!

That and mailing a block to the east coast is about $140. Yes, I am getting a CSS closed deck now! Was talking with @802SHO and he kind of pushed me over the edge on it. I was originally just going to keep her tame and within the limits of the trans, but you know platform pushing is about being able to make the jumps when parts are available and worth while. While the trans won't be up to par currently what's stopping the platform from getting a proper more producible built trans in the next couple years that won't be insanely expensive compared to the built options thus far.. So build for what you think you might do in the future and not what you are doing currently!

P.S. The bare block is about ~75lbs!

If anybody doing their own trans cooler. Front side is the feed and the rear (firewall) is return! Also don't mind the corrosion on the right lol. About to clean that up in a little bit,

Yup, I was doing some research on this very thing as I will be adding one myself:

Question I can't find the definitive answer to is...what temp is the factory thermostatic valve set at (item #4) I can't seem to find the answer...I'm going to replace it with an aftermarket one, but want to compare temp settings as you can get aftermarket ones at various temps.

Anybody know or can find out? That part number I wrote down is the PN for the valve
