Today I changed the plugs on the 2016 SHO. It was actually easier than I had read about, most hoses were air hoses that you could either disconnect or easily move out of the way to get to the plugs. The hardest one to get to was the back right one (looking at the car from the front). The car has 60k miles on it but never had the plugs changed yet, and they realistically didn't look in bad condition when I took them out, however I figured it was better to do preventative maintenance than not. The car definitely does idle smoother now, although it wasn't terrible before.
The plugs that the manual recommended are the SP-534. However when I went to buy them I was told that the SP-580 were the newer plugs and the 534's were outdated. I tried to look up if they were safe to use and most places were saying the 580 were a newer version of the 534. I put the 580's in but if anyone knows anything about this change and if I should be concerned about getting the 534's instead please let me know.
