So the oem sway bar parts number are the same, so in theory, it should bolt up. But I've heard the SHO guys have said it might be too stiff...
I was kind of suspecting that. I was looking at 2010 Ford Flex with the towing package on it. Looked at the rear sway bar and it was over an inch. That's why looking at who could have made this large rear sway bar.

I've been thinking about this more. The steeda bar is a hollow bar and adjustable. I have the 29 millimetre front bar and to work roughly in the same bar ratio s h o performance pack, the rear bar would have to be around 25 to 26 mm. That's assuming my front bar is a solid bar. With the adjustability, it might be in the ballpark.

I completed the install Tuesday, then swapped struts Wednesday and it went in for new tires and alignment today. Not too many twisties around me but what I played with today felt great.

Part number is established, I'm working on the install guide as we speak, just waiting on final pricing from Whiteline.

If you give it a good run down, can you let us know what all you have? Springs, which shocks, wheel/tire combo, any weight reduction?

My experience with autocross tells me, a stiffer rear sway bar in a heavy, 60/40 weight distribution car with front wheel bias...could actually increase under steer, which takes the car further away from neutral handling. But it could also help with sharpness on turn in or small direction changes.

This is what I was thinking...
I don't think very many aftermarket products are actually improving the stock vehicle. It seems like people know that SHO owners will literally buy anything because the market is so small.

Hey now, we sought out Whiteline they didn't approach us. This is the third iteration of the sway bar design, and its been installed on 3 different SHOs and tested at the Whiteline test track in California with notable improvements. They will provide a comparative data report with launch, which is another cause for delay as they want this to be as successful as we do.

My suspension setup is H&R springs, new PP struts, AD Gen 2 lower trans mounts, the sway bar, 275/40/20 General GMax RS tires on MMD Zeven 20x8.5" wheels. No weight reduction. 402A with Sony Package.

Let's see the notable improvements.

Thats a whole other issue... constant claims and no actual hard data.
Perfect example is the ridiculous cold air intake market for these cars which most likely cause performance loss in all but the most extreme modded examples.
Let's hold off on hype until we see results. Unless this is going to be just another cosmetic upgrade.

Working on it. Not taking orders yet, just sharing the experience. I'm all for constructive criticism but the blind hatred is pretty uncalled for man. Ask questions, im all for transparency but trying to claim that I'm taking advantage of the community by working with major manufacturers to introduce new products in an untapped platform is pretty shifty.

I've spent close to a year of my time, 2 Whiteline reps, 3 customer fitments, all at no benefit to me other than getting a discount on my unit so that we can help the community grow and perform.

If you dont wanna buy one, that's fine, but don't cripple the community because you have doubts.

If you are taking anything I say personally, then by all means do some self reflection. I have only directed positivity to your tuning even though I have personally never used it. I have done research and have followed most of the threads you are involved in.

As far as taking advantage of the community? I refer anyone to the continuing example of the cold air intake saga which to my knowledge ALL tuners participate in. Buy this really expensive air box that actually increases air temps and doesn't add power and may actually decrease power....... These should be sold as cosmetic and auditory upgrades only and advised that unless you are pushing for that last 1% you will most likely gain nothing.

Let's see some lap times on the sway bar or at least some g force testing.
I'm not saying noone should buy this but I am saying let's get some real world truth when it comes to performance. Claims of x or y don't mean z to me.

Some truth to this as I know I've been guilty of it myself. But, tbh, this is pretty true for a lot of platforms, some more than others. I.E., Honda Bois...lol.

But since we don't have the benefit of manufacturer-level (or big brand builders like Roush, etc) R&D, sometimes these aftermarket parts rely on the community to "beta" test these things. I'm not opposed to it as long as big claims without the data are being made...

The Honda community is actually almost entirely built on pointless mods. The vast majority are cosmetic with sacrifice to performance and comfort. I used to be a huge fan of the s2000 and its impressive performance on the road courses.

My point exactly...

I'm a hotrod enthusiast built on function over form mentality. Give me a ratrod that can destroy the autocross and the dragstrip and then drive cross country in comfort. I could care less about bling as long as the exhaust sings. I also will sacrifice comfort if the performance is worth it. Case point example is the original dodge viper, anyone who knows me will know how I feel about dodge but muddafugga the first viper had me considering a mortgage for a weekend car.
