The good news is I've checked out a lot of rearends over the years and mine was in great shape.

I've also realized you can jack it as much as you want, you ain't getting too high.

Following up on the OPs questions: increase of 0.8mpg consistently this week. Which maybe unfair but im going to say it is redline making the difference. I haven't done the transmission fill yet because I'm contemplating dealer services, the amsoil fluid swap/exchange.

I havent had a chance to test the transfer case yet. Maybe ill find a good trail this weekend. Although maybe a good boosted launch would work well enough. I do know it disengages somewhere past 80mph and if you let off during that process it makes a clunk so that could be a good comparison.

Also i noticed I dont lose speed as rapidly when coasting to a stop.

I noticed it smoothed everything out in my SHO. I was shocked when I changed the stock PTU fluid for Mobil One. I was floored when the Mobil One was replaced with LWSP.

Well right now its being driven about 1mile city driving and about 95 miles highway to 1mile 2 lane blacktop. Not a super fair comparison or good test yet. But this is only week one.

It will perform, no doubts in my mind.

Also this fluid swap was almost $400 not counting labor which may put it over 500. Whats everyone else's cost for drivetrain fluid maintenance?

Just the fluid cost and my labor.

Since we can get 11 quarts out of our SHO's transmission by jacking the rear passenger side up higher then any other point and waiting a "long time" (per SHO_Meoff420 The Village Idiot) LOL. I am going to start the Amsoil Trans fluid swap as well.

Lmao 13 quarts is what was recommended for fluid exchange but i bought 15 just in case the jacking got out of hand. I know if you get too high you get more than you bargain for.

What if I'm not here for "a long time" , but rather I prefer to be here for "a good time". Does this affect how much fluid comes out? Should I be concerned?

I'm working on filming 2 girls in 1 truck.
Well, since @Ryan Selcer and @SHO_Off420 are the same person, how will you pull that off? Gonna be like one of those Tyler Perry or Eddie Murphy movies where he's playing multiple roles in different costume?

He was great in that "Eating Out 2, Sloppy Seconds" flick, though. So he might be able to make it work...
