yea between both the safety aspect and the factory function, we'd prefer to keep the parking brake in tact for the rears.

Hahaha come on, who do you let drive your car, especially without you?I too am an ebrake lover. Use it every single time, in fact I'll be a little annoyed if you took my car and I find it without the ebrake on.
His clone, but even his clone is being watched like a hawk!Hahaha come on, who do you let drive your car, especially without you?
My GF is savage. I've come home before and my car is gone.....like W T F!?? Send a text, "Asking usually comes first." Then I inspect the doors, front lip and wheels before my heart rate goes back to normal.Hahaha come on, who do you let drive your car, especially without you?
My wife has only driven my car twice and that's because it's still "new" and fairly stock so it doesn't make her too nervous yet but my previous car had a lot of work done to it and she never wanted to drive it because she would be too nervous about hitting a curb or getting into an accident. My GF is savage. Hahahaha! I wish that was the case with her. I'm pretty sure the ONLY reason she wants to drive it is bc it IS modified. Usually I have a pretty good sense of where to floor it and where its not appropriate...if that makes sense. This one time I'm sitting shotgun and she floors it, tips through second, and kept going almost top of 3rd in a 35mph zone...no cars around but still...I actually got uncomfortable and was like slow down ...damn....she laughed.... I felt like a wuss. So I guess to get her to stop driving my car i have to spend more money and modify it to the point where she's uncomfortable again lol.

Hahaha that's hilarious!!! My wife gets nervous when I'm sitting passenger in her own car m, she says she feels like I'm judging everything she's doing while driving. So 99.9% of the time wherever we go I'm driving no matter if its my car or hers.Hahahaha! I wish that was the case with her. I'm guilty of this also...how often do you see your car on the road? Never bc you're driving. So I had detailed her Moms Nissan Rogue, and we were going to drive it back and go out to dinner. I said you drive my car and I'll drive your mom's....she goes why? I said I want to check my car out. Omg she says. Ok. We're driving for about 5 min, come to a light, she gets next to me. Turns green she floors it...takes off ...gone! Went through 2 more lights...im toast...she had to have hit over 100mph easy. I text her...how am I supposed to check it out now? Lol! At the same time I thought....so that's what that looks like
Damn! Haha harsh description but I'd call it a win also. Tried to tell her to drive my car down the strip but she says that's too scray! I'm like c'mon you weigh 70-75 pounds lighter than me! No she says...I'll ask again this yearThat’s good stuff. I can’t get my wife to drive mine. She hates it. Says it’s too low and feels like driving a coffin. I took it as a compliment.
So to get this thread back on track, Lee what is the time-line for this kit? And are yall still trying to figure out the parking brake issue or are yall going to offer a rear kit like TCE kit?

Me too. When I was learning to drive an instructor a.k.a. Gym teacher from the day when you took drivers Ed in HS. Said it wasn’t good to leave the weight of the vehicle resting on the transmission. So ever since when I park, before releasing the main brake, I set the parking brake with the vehicle in park. Then take right foot off of the main brake.Dang I use mine daily
I saw this after I posted my comment. You must have had the same gym teacher! Lol!I use it all the time and tought my kids to do the same before shifting into park, that way the vehicle doesn't rest on any drive train components. It also prevents AWD vehicles from being towed with the rear wheels on the ground... without someone noticing.
I have not read all the posts, so I will just say a couple things.
Parking brake (it is not and emergency brake although if SHTF well I guess it could be) is required by law.
Why would you measure stopping in time, the really has no bases as pretty much every stopping test EVER is distance based.
