There is a noticeable difference between the old tweeters and the new. Not as drastic as when I switched out the mids. There is a lot more “definition” and extra detail.

I’m running active with a LR 24db Bandpass 80Hz/4500 Hz for the mids and a LR 24db 5000Hz HPF for the tweeters. I have some delays set.

I played pink noise through the CD player and did a RTA reading with my iPhone app. Here is were I am at.

I got some work to do but it’s ok for now.

So how did it come out...

Well it’s been slow going. I got the speakers time aligned and I’m pretty impressed with that. First time doing it right.

I haven’t EQ’d yet. I debated on getting a umik-6 rta mic. Decided to stick with imm6 that I already had. Recently became a dad and it is time consuming :)

I changed the crossover points for sub and mids. Current settings are: Sub is at Bessel 12db 60hz and the mids are linkwitz 80hz 24db.
