Anyone know of any issues with the chair leg cap vent to atmosphere BOV mod with a tuned car? I have a day off and I've been deep down the YouTube rabbit hole with all those BOV mods. Seems like an interesting use of my time tomorrow.

Mine is chair capped. No problems. Remember those caps are only cover a small vaccum source feeding the turbos.

I really cant think of a way a $4 purchase could improve anything else in any way as much as that PSHHHHHH sound does in this situation.

Exactly. Mine have been on for over a year and a half now. I actually used the stock tension clips to secure the caps.

I use the same method with the chair caps and factory clamps. when capping the rear one, youre going to want to have some looooooooooonnnnnnngggggg a** needle nose pliers that ones a pain. I dropped the chair cap into the engine back there using short needle nose pliers and that was a mistake! Ive had mine tuned with this "mod" since May

I, too, lost a cap trying to cap the rear one. RIP lil buddy. Hope you fell out on the road somewhere.

I vented the front one but noticed the lag and decrease in fuel economy so just put the hose back

eh it's all mental. The BOV only vents when you let off the throttle, it's closed otherwise so there should be no change in lag, especially on a turbo the size of a half dollar. And the fuel economy change is just because you subconsciously like hearing it more so you throttle more frequently. :)
