Are these camber bolts for the FRONT or REAR ? A local shop just told me today the fronts are NOT adjustable. True or False?

He’s willing to do an alignment for $89 WITH adjustment and $45 if the car is within factory spec.
Thanks!

81280 is what I and a friend who worked in the R&D dept. at H&R came up with as a solution many years ago.

The other number being provided is from what I understand an "updated" part #, and is only slightly longer in length IIRC.

There is no option for the fronts that I am aware of.

Below is a "How-To" thread I authored many years ago on the subject.

Best of luck and enjoy those H&R's.

BTW, the prices you've posted for an alignment are incredibly reasonable!

Here’s the 84130 dimensions.
They are sold individually

The 81280 are usually sold as a pair.
I used the 84130 on my 2010 SHO and they worked perfectly.

And here’s the difference between
84130 and 81280

Glock..... a point of clarification.

You compared a listed part of "81260" and the original part spec'd many years ago was/is "81280".

This variation is likely why you saw, or are seeing, the differences between the updated part number of 84130, and what others have used.

No problem.

Just wanted to make sure the proper info is out there, that's all.

Regardless, both part #'s are functional (the 81280 and the 84130 that is).

The micrometer image is sweet btw.

I ordered the 84130 from Tire Rack. $20 A PIECE.... seems a bit ridiculous. But, some people have said their car did not need them. If that’s the case for me, I’ll return them :)

In my opinion I have NO clue how or why some people said they didn't need them! My rear camber was so off after H&R I could see it with my bare eye! The top of the tire angled in like a 16 year old's Honda slammed to the ground! The fronts were adjusted easily but the rears needed these camber bolts and it worked great.
