Exhaust tips chrome on the outside black on the inside?

My 16' SHO/ PP 's exhaust tips always turn black. A swipe with a rag and it's gone ... until I drive the car. Are these engines running that rich? I get 18 /19 in the city and 22-23 hwy. runs ok no complaints. Not burning oil. Is this normal for SHO/PP?

Very common! I ended up spraying mine flat black. Looks good on an all white SHO.

Same here, both my 2013 and my 2016 do it in a few days.

I hear if you keep your foot out of the go-pedal it doesn't happen as fast. Yeah, right

Yea... these engines are dirty.... all DI do it...

I gave up on keeping the inside of the tips clean...

After putting on DPs I now spew crap on the floor of the garage..

You need to re-apply that epoxy to the floor.
