Time for new tires, suggestions?

I will never Run Generals
Had a Mustang and felt like sliding on sand when stopping

Had a Company Rav4 that had Generals. Tire Light went on , felt a bump in left rear area on 22 Outside Allentown PA.
Looked out Side mirror and seen a tire rolling past me and up the light post on the side of the road about 5 ' up the pole.
Happened so Quick before I realized, I only was riding only on side walls. one of the most screwed up feelings in the world

Never again Generals

Had the tread come off the rear driver side tire of my wife's minivan once... Generals...never looked at buying them again either..

Like others have said, I had General GMax before and will never buy them again. Currently running Continental DWS and I have been impressed with them. Big improvement over the Gens.

Just put some Firehawk Indy 500's on mine. Tons of grip, slightly firmer ride, but feels like a great match for the performance package suspension.

I just did all 4 on these as well 275/40/20. Waiting for the ground to thaw to try m out.

Any update on this size for fitment issues. I've been thinking about this size in several different brands.....

Slight issue in the rear. Has been since resolved.

This tire (275/40/20) is the exact diameter and rev's per mile as the stock 245/45/20 tire. No speedo problem. The rear tire rubbed slightly on the inner plastic fender well. I removed 2 high points on each side with a die grinder.
