Finally selling my SHO as I just don’t drive it anymore and am hoping it finds a new home with someone who will appreciate these cars. I’m certain that it is one of the nicest around and has been meticulously maintained. I bought the car from a neighbor in 1998 and have all records since then. I’ve literally driven the car 300 miles in the past 3 years, and it has largely been a garage queen since we moved to the Seattle area in 2002. I let my son drive it for a couple of years in high school (bad idea) but other than that it has been unmolested. A few highlights:

  • AC retrofitted to R134 and blows cold, heater core replaced

  • Upper and lower 60K maintenance and ½ shafts done by Mike at SHO Source

  • New tires in 2012 at 65K miles

  • New radiator, fuel filter, front brakes, thermostat, tie rod ends - 4/13

  • New battery – 1/16

  • Less than 1000 miles on new clutch by Mike at SHO Source
The only issues are that the driver’s seat has a slight tear where the rivet on my jeans has rubbed against it getting in and out of the car over the years, and I just noticed that one of the bulbs in the instrument panel is burned out. I’ve been meaning to have the seat fixed, and I’m sure that we could work something out.

Other than that, the car needs nothing. Wanted to see if there was any interest on SHO Forum before putting it on E-Bay.

Very nice!
You might have better luck on bringatrailer.com, an enthusiast auction site.

I appreciate everyone's kind words and the tip on the "bringatrailer" site. I wasn't aware of it.

Is this vehicle still for sale?

I am a serious buyer, woild appreciate a response either way. . . thank you. The Badger.
This is very important to me . Thank you. The Badger.

I apologize for not having gotten back to you sooner. I'm on the road a lot and need to check this more often. Yes the car is still for sale and sitting in my garage. It is completely stock. I've thought about mods over the years but decided against doing any. I'd be happy to take additional pictures or talk live to answer any questions that you might have. Thanks - Eric

Sorry folks I'm not that savvy with the posting system on this site. The car is still for sale and sitting in my garage under cover. It is stock except for an aftermarket AM/FM/CD/Cassette radio that I put in after the original died. I bought the car in Anchorage from a neighbor in 1998 with 20K miles and he only drove it in the summers. It actually has a block heater which was pretty standard dealer add back then. I have a Ford shop manual for it and all records since then. I'd be happy to talk live or send additional pictures. My email is [email protected]. I'm open to offers and would like it to find a new home.

The car is sold and on it's way to a new home in CA. Very sorry to see it go but happy that the new owner really appreciates these cars. Was fun to sit in the passenger seat as he put it through it's paces. What an engine and sound!
