Given the craptastic track record Michelin has had in regards to their total lack of customer support post sale, I think most SHO owners would be hard pressed to put anything from Michelin on their cars again.

Hope those work out for 'ya.

I'll rely on my tire guy to give me the support if needed. Been dealing with him for 15 years. I wasn't real impressed with the OE Goodyear F1's or the DWS06.
What tires do you have on?

That's good that your 'tire guy' will attempt intervening on your behalf should you run into problems.

My comment had everything to do with Michelin only.

Many '10-'12 owners will tell you that the Primacy's which came installed as OE, experienced sidewall failures, cracking, literal holes, etc.

Whether it be through Ford, or a local shop, Michelin wouldn't do jack diddly do about replacement, warranty, pro rating, nothing.

Zero zip zilch nada.

Just a fair warning from the experiences of those who've preceded you. That's all.

I have successfully run the tire you replaced w/o any issues to speak of.

Both daily driven (up until recently thanks to a newer used daily vehicle for me) roadcoarsed, & drag stripped.

Again, good luck with your latest tire choice. Fingers crossed for 'ya, but not hopeful in the same token.

But NOW... You are back to a strictly SUMMER tire???
Last time I checked it snows in Indianapolis...

My 011 came with PARADA SPEC-X.

    • These tires LOOK great on the 011 wheels.

    • Very quiet.

    • Not pushed them as of this date to judge performance

Pintony,
The good news is that I have a set of Blizzak snow tires for the Indy winters that I have used the past 2 winters and they hardly look like they have any wear on them. BTY my daughter lives in St. Louis, if I get over that direction we should meet up.

My 011 came with PARADA SPEC-X.

The Michelin Primacy and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are vastly different tires in all regards, so different in fact that they almost seem like tires from different manufacturers. The Primacy is a Low Rolling Resistance all-season tire with high mileage wear in mind, the Pilot Super Sport is typically regarded as one of the best performance street tires that are good enough for the occasional track day.

The customer support issue with Michelin is unfortunate, but they typically rely on tire dealers (Discount Tire, etc) to deal with the warranty and customer service aspect, they are just the manufacturer.

I have these on my 11 SHO PP, but with a wider 255/45/20. I love them, but my only complaint is that they wear quickly. however, I do tend to drive these curvy Pittsburgh roads with a "spirited" driving style. :eeeeeek:

I had the Parada's on my TBSS and they were a very good tire and held up quite well for me. I had thought about putting them on my '13 SHO but when I suggested them as a possible option I was called out for wanting to put a "truck" tire on a passenger car. Looks like I wasn't the only one contemplating them as an option.

I got a '15 with PP last July and had BFG g-Force Sport Comp 2s (not the all season ones) put on before I took delivery. I live in Buffalo and didn't want to worry about cold weather in the Spring and Fall. For the winter, I put on Bridgestone Blizzaks, but in 225/60 R18. They are the exact same size as far as revs/mile. I can't say enough how much I like them in the snow. I had them on my '10 and loved them in the snow. We don't get the snow like we used to when I was a kid, but even on dry pavement, the Blizzaks perform well. As far as the BFGs go Skip Barber uses them on his cars for his performance driving school... I think that says enough.
