OK Friends, here we go. As I posted yesterday on another thread, I received my "goodie box" from LMS yesterday morning. I got the CAI, plugs, and thermostat installed in no time. Very easy on all counts. I posted same and shared that I couldn't wait to actually get the tunes so I could upload to the car. Now here's the kicker...I sent the info to LMS yesterday afternoon around 4pm CDT. This morning I get a PM from Anthony over at LMS asking me to contact him. I did so, and he tells me that since I'm doing a "simple" tune (Stage 1) with nothing exotic, he'll look up my info and get the tunes to me RIGHT AWAY since they are already built files! WOW! Less than an hour later, I have the link to the files in my inbox, and 30 minutes after THAT I've got v10 91 octane tune ON THE CAR!

As for the tune...HOLY FREEKIN' $#!T Batman!!! This is AMAZING, it's like a new car! I have the LMS GRIN plastered on my ugly mug STILL! I thought the SHO was BadA$$ bone stock, bt this is a new animal completely!

More importantly, though, is the level of service I experienced from the folks at LMS. It is nothing short of AMAZING. PERIOD! From the first phone call I made full of "newb" questions and not yet having spent one thin dime (I'm new to the whole tuning thing), to the expedited transmittal of my files; the dedication of this team to their customers is obvious. I am a Customer/Technical Support rep for the largest manufacturer of business jets in the world. By their very nature, folks who own/operate multi-million dollar jets tend to have high expectations and set a pretty high bar for the level of customer service and support that is provided to them. I work very hard to meet those expectations, and I also recognize SUPERIOR customer service and support. While my “baby” certainly isn’t a multi-million dollar machine by any stretch of the imagination, it is my “baby” and I treat it accordingly. The level of service the folks there at LMS have shown me since BEFORE I even spent a penny is nothing short of astounding. I did a LOT of shopping and research before deciding to run with LMS, and I do not regret that choice in the least. I can say with CERTAINTY that they’ve got a loyal customer for as long as I’m driving these machines. Superior products, stellar customer support, and a completely satisfying experience start to finish.

So for anyone considering tuning their SHO....My vote DEFINITELY goes to Livernois Motor Sports. My license plate is AAMAZED (any FOB's ought to get this)....and now I have one more reason to be so.

Cheers All!

Thank you immensely for taking the time to post about your experience. We genuinely do appreciate your extra time and effort. It is also great to see that our products and more importantly level of service exceeded your expectations! We do strive to go the extra mile, and it is refreshing when that gets recognized.

Thanks for the write up. I'm right with you. Total newb. Does mileage matter? I've only got 6000 (no typo) miles on my '13 PP. Sure sounds like LMS is the way to go. I don't think I've heard a bad thing yet. I hate this. I should just do it.

Dude....JUST DO IT!!!
Mileage is NO FACTOR, I just rolled my '13 over to 75k (no typo LOL). This is no kidding, the BEST $1000 I've spent in a long time. I waffled for 9 months, don't make the same mistake! I could've been wearing this $h!t eating grin 9 months ago. In all seriousness, you will NOT regret it! These guys have an amazing product and LMS is an amazing company. Hope you join the family soon buddy !

Damn. You didn't make it any easier dude....
HA!
I only did it because of the good folks here posting good info, and my own research, that helped me make an informed decision.
You'll thank me if you pull the trigger and go for it!

He is completely right. I waited six months to tune mine. I'm at 127K miles now, still going strong. The sooner you tune it, the sooner you can start kicking yourself for waiting so long.

Thanx for backing me up, Ridered!

Ya know, it's kind of funny. I (half) jokingly call this my Mid-Life Crisis car. When the gen 4 came out back in '10, I positively DROOLED over the beast. I was just out of a brutal divorce, and couldn't fathom having the scratch to ever afford one. But time passed and things got better again, as they always do, and one day I realized I COULD get my hands on one. I bought it Ford Certified used (I do NOT buy new, ever) with 37k miles for half of what a new one would cost. From the day I drove it home, I knew the car had potential. It wasn't until I started looking into add ons that I discovered LMS and their abilities to truly UNLOCK the cars potential. MAN OH MAN am I glad I did, though. This machine is really an under appreciated gem. My favorite new pastime is leaving the local "kids" gaping in awe and wonder when my "old mans" car BLOWS THEIR FART-CAN RICE RODS off the line! Better still was the SUPREME thrill I got today (new tune and mods installed) leaving a brand new Mustang GT sitting at the light like he was tied to a pole LOL.

Like I said earlier...best damn $1000.00 I've spent in a. LOOOOOOOOONG time. Happy Tuning!

My 2010 MKS has been tuned by Livernois since 2012 and it was the best car-related decision I have ever made. I would have probably been bored with my car by now if it didn't have a Livernois tune. I am planning on getting a new Continental or MKZ with their 3.0 400 HP engine when they become available but I will not do it until they develop a tune for it!

I can't state it more clearly than Citationdoc or Taurussel...........anyone on the fence about getting a Livernois tune needs to JUST DO IT!
