I just traded in my 2011 SEL for a used 2011 SHO with 38,000 miles on in with the PP package, It seems slow off the line (no tire spin at all) til it hits about 10 mph then you feel it pulling hard. To my knowledge its totally bone stock,..anyone else experience this?

Turbo lag. Try brake boosting for better launch.

Thanks Rich,...Even with Brake Boosting it hardly chirps the tires, feels somewhat flat til over 10 mph, I was thinking about a Livernois Tune, maybe stage 2 or 3 being conservative knowing this is my daily driver, any opinion?

Running the Livernois 4+x as my daily for last 15k. Great tune that is docile until you get into the skinny pedal. Definitely takes care of Ford's weak shift strategy.

I think there is a TSB relating to sluggish performance off the line too. I'd look into that for sure.

Thanks for the help and feedback ,..are you running the 160 deg. thermostat as well? I have a buddy that's the service manager at my local Ford dealer I will ask him about the TSB,..good info.!

No problem. Running the 160 tstat, MC SP 534 plugs, Windstorm CAI, and just put on catless PPE downpipes. Couldn't be happier with the Livernois tunes...best of 12.42 so far.

Again thanks for the info.!!! You have some real work done to your SHO,.. 12.42 is outstanding!!! I don't think I will ever get there, I think the stage 2 would be good for me just wondering if its really necessary to run the 160 Thermo. with that tune. I want to be able to switch back easily to the stock tune in case I need to take it in for work since I have a really good warranty. I talked to my buddy about the TSB you enclosed here, I will be bringing it in hopefully next week, that will be under the extended warranty I have.

I actually ran the 12.42 with just 3bar tune and CAI...Ran a 12.44 with that tune and stock air box. Put downpipes on and went slower...bad traction day.

Really?!,..Outstanding!..I am sure there are better numbers to come for you then if you can hook up. Well I certainly don't have a traction problem on the street with my stock (For Now) SHO, I know at the strip its easier to spin the tires unless they have just treated the track. I have run my '70 Mach 1 there and spun the tires ridiculously! Until they treated it then I had one good run with no spin.
