so since this tune was loaded and i installed the 3 bar the car has been shifting kind of funny only on downshifts after letting off the throttle. i downloaded this tune drove the car about 200 miles but then the car sat for about 2 weeks as i had a lot of work and was driving my other car around. when i got in the car to go somewhere after it sat is when i noticed it was downshifting a little funny kind of like holding itself back, so today on the way home from work on a major high way i floored it to blow it out, when i let off the gas the car stayed floored and i had to put it in neutral at about 108 mph so i didnt get killed. the revs lowered i got off at my exit put it in drive and now the car drives fine and the trasnny doesnt seem to stick on downshifts........can anyone tell me what in the **** i just delt with? im going to take the car for a run in a bit to see how it is but it was very scary

What year is your SHO? Almost sounds like a sticking wastegate to me. How old is the battery? Any electrical problems lately? Thinking if PCM could be "re-learning" possibly due to battery issues. Pull codes to see if anything pops up Pxxxx or Bxxxx or Uxxxx etc. Sometimes a blip of the throttle restores "sanity" as well.

Its a 2011 pp, I got a p1000 code, I don't drive the car very aggressive at all I like having the extra power of the tune there when needed, after the car sat for about 2 weeks when I took it out the past few days it felt like when I let off the throttle it was braking itself and like holding back for a good 5 seconds until it found the correct gear to downshift to then it would glide like normal, now I just took it out floored the **** out of it from a stop from rolling and now it seems to downshift and run perfect I don't get it

From http://www.obd-codes.com/p1000

Potential causes of a P1000 include:
  • The battery or PCM has been disconnected (Ford,Mazda)
  • The diagnostic trouble codes have been cleared (Ford,Mazda)
  • An OBD monitor concern occurred before completion of the drive cycle (Ford)
Maybe a case of fuel quality also. I've had seemingly transmission issues "cured" with a little octane booster or HEET.

I would unplug the battery overnight and see if it improves.
