What the flip!?!? Really?

Well that's certainly depressing news...... *sigh*

Guess the new records will have to wait a little longer.

Tsk tsk tsk..... just dumped in new/fresh RP HPS Oil, and bought me a 5gal pail of VP M1, as well as VP MS109 in preparation.

Damn..... gotta put in a memo to rescind my time off request(s) as well at work.

A sad turn of events for sure.

On a side note..... the forecast for Milan, MI for 10/10/14 (as of this posting) was showing 70% chance(s) of moderate to heavy rain.

Maybe it was Mother Nature who was/is responsible for the "extenuating circumstances"?

It was absolutely not in our plans, but we do hope it turns out for the best!

Need to be a guest of someone if you'd like an extra spectator

The Livernois Motorsports customer appreciation track day is back on for 10/16/2014 from 3pm to 7pm

Weather is kinda iffy for this PM. I can meet anyone right outside the gate in a gravel parking lot ~3pm. email me at integrity6987 at yahoo dot com if you want somebody to cheer for you.

Thanks - David

It showed when everyone showed but, but kudos to Milan track workers for getting the track ready to run. It wasn't perfect but good enough to have some fun. The new 2.3 EB Mustang made a showing. Everyone was a pleasure to talk to, I had a blast. Wish the weather would of been better, I'm sure it would of helped on the car count. Thank You, Livernois for doing this for you customers, I cant wait will spring.

Was the EB Mustang tuned or stock? I'm going to be very impressed if it ran 13.6 stock with such a small engine - even if it's such a lighter car. Plus, they're very pretty. :dribble:

It was a completely stock car. Tuning is underway AS WE SPEAK...2015EcoboostMustang zps748a8195

Stock, as you see reported here, was an impressive, but not earth shattering 233hp/261tq. Considering the car was brand new, and an auto, definitely respectable.

Fast forward to today, and we have achieved 322hp/328tq!

Thats a peak vs. peak gain of 89hp, and 67tq!

While that is impressive, the real story here are the actual peak gains which were 122hp/111tq, and as you can see the power band is extended out much further, extending the usable range and eliminating the "out of steam" feeling the car had at high RPM when stock.

and the 315ft lbs from 2900-5500 rpm is nice too!

But yeah, at 6k you are making 310hp vs 185, that is healthy!

Any estimate on the cost of the package that would do this for the EcoStang?

All of our EcoBoost tuners are $599.99. We are not even done tuning the Mustang yet...those are just preliminary results!

What was done to the Mustang as far as supporting mods? Intake, exhaust, 93 octane tune?

I'm curious what the EGT's on that look like. That has to be pushing that little Turbo pretty hard.

The car is ONLY tuned at this point, there is nothing else done to it at all. As far as particulars on tuning we are not going to release any details yet anyway. Take solace in the fact that the poor little turbo is just fine. It is working WELL within its parameters.
