I haven't been involved in a LONG time to the SHO community.. but haven't forgotten about her.

It is time I am getting things finally done, projects caught up and all for a real big reason, after 18 yrs almost to the month I have just had another child. I will be 37 this year, and after having my first kid at 18, this was a bit of a shock.. but the lil one is here, is a beautiful baby boy and it is time to get the SHO back on the road again. It has been insanely too long.

Who all is still around? Did the new SHO take people away or add a bunch of new people? I got to go down to Dallas for the new SHO unveiling, I was SERIOUSLY drained, found out late by Bizzy, and pretty much got on the road right away.. so I showed up with no sleep and plenty of excitement for something we all thought would never come.

Anywho.. I need to do a full 60/120k on her, I will be rebuilding the trans finally, as I have a good parts provider and have been rebuilding transmissions for the last few years on the side. I bought one from Bizzy but lost contact with her and haven't been able to get it picked up from her place in MI.

Anyone know of a "solid" 60k thread? I have been looking and I am getting a lot of question threads :( I did replace the starter last year, I need to drain the tank of old fuel and get her re-filled with new again.

ALSO.. I know this may sound bad.. but I lost the keys to her. She has been sitting for so long, I need to figure out a way to get a new set. Is there something Ford can do? Can I order new keys for her from Ford? Anyone know the price on this if so?

Welp I will be cruising the site more now, I will likely start my own 60/120k thread soon, I will make sure to post up some goodness. I will have a trans thread also, once I get it done. I think way back in the day I had one, cobwebs in my head.. at this point I have forgotten nearly all I have learned about the SHO and stats and all. I still have my parts I need to put on from when I had the electrical failure that led to hard failure in the trans. I sure as **** wish I knew what happened, but soon enough I will know.

Thanks for the read ya'll.. and on that 60k thread, please post it up for me :)

No chance Ford will be able to cut you keys, as far as I know. Best bet I think, is to find a whole lock set from a junkyard car that has both keys in it - I don't know if this is sold aftermarket.

So you would need - Ignition cylinder, door lock cylinder, trunk cylinder, and the truck lock cylinder that is beside the drivers seat...and also the glove box lock if you want to do it 100%. If you're lucky you might be able to find someone parting out a car.

SHOdded has got the 60k posts covered...but if you can rebuild a trans, a 60k should be easy! SHOsource sells rebuilt ATX timing belt tensioners if you need one.

imho the best thing to do with the lock cylinder beside the drivers seat is to pull all the pins out of the tumbler so any key will turn it.

you can still buy those keys and locks from Ford, last time I checked, but of course its a lot more money than the jy.

Welcome back man! I didn't realize you were in Olathe! I just got back from living in the KC area for almost a year to help launch the Ford Transit at their Claycomo plant. I bought my SHO wagon out near Olathe!

Glad to see you're back and gonna resurrect the SHO.

With the keys, Ford only can look up your key cut via your VIN up to 10 years back, so I think you'll have to go with the route Kevin suggested.
