I guess Ford reacted to all of the "flower wheel" comments and now offer a new 20" wheel option that's a 10-spoke black and silver contrasting design. The "flower wheel" is still available and required for the Performance Pkg for some reason though.

There's also some new colors coming this year. One is called "Dark Side" which is like a dark slate and that's on the site. Another is called "Sunset Metallic" that is like a burnt orange/copper mixed with Ruby Red. It replaces Ginger Ale :)vomit:), but Sunset is an SLO only color for some reason.

Heads up for dealer. The Dark Side looks like a extremely dark blue but when you see a color chip or the a vehicle in person it does not look that different from Tuxedo Black. I didn't see it on a Taurus but my dealer had a 2014 Explorer and it looks almost black. I personally say a waste, because it looks close enough to black to not make a difference. I say bring back the dark blue.

FYI the Sunset shows NOT Available on the SHO I also agree with the new 20" wheel selection. If they would make that into a 19" I would consider replacing my 19" on my 2013 with them. I know what my dream mod is........the Recaro Front seats from the Focus ST.

Yeah, I also don't really like the look of the new rims. Plus since they are available on the SEL, Limited, and SHO, it takes away from the "uniqueness" in my opinion. I for one like how mine you know it's a SHO with the flower wheels. I used to be iffy about the flower wheels, but they have grown on me...pun intended :)

Yes, that's what I said ;). I wish they did offer Sunset on the SHO though, I think it would look pretty good. I've seen the new 20" wheels in person on a Sunset Limited and thought it looked pretty good. I like them over the "flower," but to each their own and I'm also not the target costumer for a new SHO either.

I was going to look at ordering a 2014 until I found out that Park Assist and BLIS won't be included if you have the Performance Package.

BLIS is included with the Performance Package. Park Assist isn't, but that's a useless feature, anyway.

Just saw new 2014 Dark Side SHO. Even thought it was dirty, and you look in the right light, its a dark green metallic. UGH. It also had Drivers Assit package and 20" SHO wheels.

I was incorrect. BLIS is included in the 401a.

Adaptive Cruise is pretty awesome on my Explorer Sport. I wish I could have it on my SHO.

I do wish I had Adaptive Cruise, since my main reason for purchasing the Taurus was for comfort during long distance drives. It was nearly impossible for me to use cruise control on a recent drive from Las Vegas to Santa Ana because people couldn't drive 75mph. It was either 70 in the slow lane or 90 in the fast lane. Shit ****** me off.

It's not something I was looking for when I bought my Explorer, but now that I have been using it for months, it's going to be hard to not have it since I've been spoiled lol

Get some photos......you can get angle shots and pixel out the license plates. You are probably the first I have heard seeing one in person.

I personally did not care for the "flower" wheels when they first appeared but I have them on my SHO and they really grew on me. The second option wheel looks very close to the 20 wheel that was available on the Limited already. Well at least folks will know it's not a PP by sight with those wheels. I work at a Ford dealer and haven't seen any of the new SHO options in person yet.

The "new" wheels are actually from a 2010 Lincoln MKS. Looks like Ford went back into the parts bin and tried to save some money.
