Ok, here's the plan.

Leave Dave's (8700 Burton Ave, St Louis, MO 63114) at around noon. (07/16/2011)

I64/40 to Lexington, KY. Hotel TBD, arrive between 7-7:30

Leave Lexington KY at around 8am (07/17/2011)

Drive on through to the hotel from there.

I'll be in the Super 8 in Hazard KY on Saturday night, leqaving from there Sunday morning. Just another 115 miles down the road!!

Well, what time are you leaving? Maybe we could meet up, and have the official Ron Porter caravan!

By the route I'm taking from there, it's 310 miles to the hotel. I figure 5.5 hours or so, and I'll allow 6.

I figured 9 - 10 AM.

If you guys were up for the drive here, with an AAA rate the room is $54, $60 inc tax for a double-bed room:

AutoZone and liquor store next door, steakhouse (Reno's, peanuts-on-the-floor like a Texas Roadhouse), 2 Mexican restaurants, Appleby's, and a big parking lot!

Oh, and you can still smoke in restaurants here!!
