Autobahn CC Joliet May 21-22

I'm signed up with the Northwoods Shelby Club for Sunday May 22nd on the South course. Ryan was talking about some quality Turtle time Sat. and Sun. It's $175 per day, plus $20 for a one year membership in the club.
They are doing a weekend at Road America again and Blackhawk farms in Sept. GREAT bunch of people!!!
Rumor has it there are less people signed up this year than there were last year at this time, plus do it now before it's $8.00 a gallon
C'mon Tony, Andy, Kris, Steve, Adam, Michelle, Gates, Paul, who's in?

Also FYI there's a group of Shelby club members running a Gen I in the upcoming Chumpcar race at RA.

My father bought some track time for my sister at the latest Meadowdale reunion dinner. That next Friday evening she gets some SCCA instruction, as a little brother gift she'll run my car. She can use my helmet and ride with you too to see more of the lines and such. She'll get a kick out of the powerful pinkness.

Sure thing. I have been relagated to a 04 Mulibu Maxx. The WRX, well, we out grew that one too.

Bigger pulley is now on the blower, so one thing can be checked off the list (it's a big list though).

Also renewed my membership.

Well, I'm in no matter what, just gonna go helmet shopping cuz I've only got this year left on certification and having two fore this year is a good thing.

Did you request a certain run group Tom? I was planning on requesting a "run whatever group Tom Ochal is in". If you sent in your $$, I can send in mine tonight with that request.

I'm also going to be the nice wife and share track time with the other half. Maybe that will get him working on his own car....

No I didn't request a group, just mentioned that I've run there before with them. IIRC Adam was in the top group after they ****** him off the first time putting him in the last group. He talked to them in tech and had me moved up, he moved down one, so we could run together. Maybe you want to mention it, if they are that low on entries it shouldn't be a problem.
I'm just wondering where the Turtle is? havn't heard a peep and he was bugging me months ago, paging Ryan.

I visited Raphael over the weekend.

I have not even touched the car since before winter!!! I have a lot of work to do on the car. The brake system needs a good overhaul.

I also need a new helmet as last year they said "this" was the last year they would accept it. I think its a 2000.

I thought the helmets went in 5 year stints and we have this year too.

2010 just came out at the end of last year. I dunno the rules tho. I know MVP requires you to have a 2005 or newer

I am not, I will be at Gingerman the weekend before with Jason Kennedy's group autointerest. I did just sign up for the autobahn full course in june with MVP Tracktime.

Cool, I've wanted to do another track event with them. Hopefully i the near future.

Do you have anyway to take video will on track? I would like to see the new extension from inside the car.

Yea, I just checked my helmet and it's 2000 so I guess i'll be buying a new one. Anyone find the cheapest 2010 out there yet?
