They're still growing the aluminum tree, it'll be a while before they can harvest the aluminum from it.

We are actually going into production on the oil caps as we speak. We decided to go with the two part design so we can get the cap rotation correct for the SHO logo.

We should have something soon, as long as our tree does not die :laugh_ti:

Do you guy's need me to pay for the remaining caps?
Will this help with production time?

"Never give up. Never surrender."

The caps are made and they are at the annodizer. This project has to be one of the most painful, drawn out projects I have had, but it is nearing completion.

I actually don't think it's that funny. I just thought I'd throw that out there. Will we see them this century?

Not funny at all how long this one is taking. The oil caps have been done for about a month and they are in the que at the annodizer. We have always seens less than a 1 week turn around, but this last time they said it would be 6 weeks. We thought they were kidding, but I guess they reduced staff, and when the market started to rebound, they did not crew up.

Bear with us on this one, but you will get you oil caps.

We are running your unannodized cap halfway through the process because the etching deburrs and smooths out the edges. When the caps come off the CNC machine, the edges are sharp enough to cut you, and hand deburring would be difficult. Your cap will be pulled before the rest are annodized, but unfortunately, it too is trapped at the annodizing shop.
