This is what I'm thinking ^ Trans go shift kit 32-3500 rpm stall I have a big ole fluid cooler already. I also have 2 good atx's and no mo MTX's .Necessity is the mother of invention.

What ATX has held up to a lot of power? I know there was the turbo ATX but shredded about 3 trannies. The ATX doesn't seem to be much better then the MTX. I have not seen a lot of ATX's putting down a lot of power lately. If I missed something let me know.

my car also weighed in at a hefty 3800lbs and I beat the **** out of it every time I took it out. whiteguy93 can probably atest to that when i took him out to see the car. and we drifted my 1990 SHO then my... his turbo atx then made multiple pulls into or near triple digits. My point in doing that was to prove that I fully trusted the car.

The biggest killer in my trans was heat. I had a really REALLY tough time keeping the temps reasonable with that much exhaust pipe in the engine bay. A supercharger would help greatly. With a boost ATX you can have 12's in the 1/4 without breaking a sweat

get a gen3 subframe since you have to switch them anyways. only thing you have to modify is the front motor mount spot. Then throw on some slicks and see what happens.

One reason to run a high power ATX is you can still get parts to fix it!!!

ATX's are way easier to get and cheaper too. I've trashed 2 MTX's at this point. I kinda feel bad because we cannot replace them . While atx's **** you can hardly give em away . I've had theese for years .
