I know its posted all over the forum, but I just have a couple questions and am hoping to get straight forward answers.

I just bought a 92 SHO 3.0 MTX 190K its white with full black leather interior the interior is almost mint. THe outside is not so pretty and nothing is good about the exterior. Not running condition

I have a 94 SHO 3.2 ATX 136K on motor and runs pretty healthy. I am planning on swapping out the interior from the 92 into the 94 as the 94's interior is pretty ruff. Then I started thinking that I should just swap in the MTX into the 94. Basically I want to take the MTX and put it into my atx. I know about swapping the subframe and the 3.0 accys and all that. The 92 is a complete car and I mean everything. I want to do this swap within a couple days I have tools and everything to do it. What I was gonna do is take everything out of the 92 and put it into the 94 and swap the engines out.

WOuld it just be easier to swap everything and I mean everything chassis harnesses, engine harnesses, dash harness. etc. Why does the 3.2l water pump not fit on the 3.0?

This swap sounds pretty straight forward Its not my first time taking a sho apart but its not the big things that make this type of thing take a long time its the little things connectors and all

the only issue with the 3.2 oil pump is on the back of the timming cover you could jb weld the piece on or leave it open like i did the only problem is the tb tensioner is showing and if you are pulling out the dashes i would swap all the harnesses i only swaped in my 92 comp and engine harness its been a ***** matchin up wirers and connecting the two different harnesses and i would keep the 3.2 injectors and swap out the intake cams. you can also keep the 3.2 oil pan on there just remember to switch the exaust manifolds while you have them both out
let me know if you neen any other info

the 3.2 wp doesnt is a little bigger and doesnt clear the 3.0 timming covers there is a little extra metal on it and the down spout is different

In the case you describe, the easiest thing would be to swap the entire subframe w/ engine, trans, and wiring to the 94. Since you want to put the black interior into the 94, you will need to swap the dash anyway, so just swap the dash wiring with it and you will have 95% of the work done.

There are a few places where you will likely have to re-wire - in the driver's kick panel there are about 5 large connectors that get wiring from the dash/engine compartment to the rest of the car. These may be populated differently between the 92 and the 94, so you will need to figure that out. On the passenger rear corner of the engine compartment is the connector to the rear abs signals - this connector may be different between the 92 and 94 cars. A few of those is all you will have to deal with if you swap all the dash wiring and everything forward of that.
