Of course I'd like to go. But liking to go and being able to go are two different things. Hope everyone who goes gets there and back safe and has a good time.

Dude get the week off, pay for some gas either there or back and bring a cot to sleep on the floor in my room and you're good to go!

Hey nuk, I may be heading out Sunday morning, hooking up with Tommy/SHOCH southside of Chicago.

I'm west of Woodfield about 5 miles.

Lager,
Chris

Talked to Ryan this morning and he's gonna try to meet us at the oasis with the turtle on the trailer. Now he's thinking of how he can bring his 89 garage queen too.

We'll see what he does, it's all my fault cuz I let him know that Porter wasn't planing on putting his mint 89 in the show out of fairness, cuz Ron's cool like that. "shooting fish in a barrel" I think was the term.
I say put the clean 89 on the trailer and I'll drive the Turtle across Michgan.

The car already has a Platinum Award when Dan had it, and I would have to get every speck of crud off of it, as I know how the judges are!! Plus, I don't think it's fair if it ended up with Best Of SHOw by the crowd pick.

But yeah, I feel it's an unfair advantage. Dan Vinke is still ****** about his (one and only) 2nd Place Finish in Peoria when he was up against a '92 SHO that was straight off the showroom floor.

Also, Tim Pavlik will be driving his well-beat '91+ Tim could safely drive Ryan's 89 (I would trust Tim with my red '89), and someone else could handle Tim's "91+

Well my twice second place 95 MTX is out of the running altogether.

Took it in for a few touchups and the guy sez "you do know your car was in a hail storm", me: uh No?

So I start looking real careful (car hasen't been waxed yet) and sure enough, dimpled like a golf ball. So I suppose that will make it go faster and fly more true, not shank or hook when I get it over 100...

That's what happened to my LGT. Just about the entire car got repainted last year just before the Convention, except for the mirror housings and lower spats.
