Hello All,

Another user pointed out to me in a PM that I was missing the SHO emblem on my driver's side C Pillar..... I do have one on the passenger side Pillar though....
Although weird I thought that this was normal however he told me that his 2010 has SHO emblems on both C Pillars.....

So the answer to this can be one of two things:

1) They missed putting an emblem on the Driver's side at the factory
2) All 2011's are like this

Can anyone with a 2011 confirm this? Also, would there be any difference between Canadian and American SHO's for badging?

Any help would be appreciated!

Reminds me of a Mustang that I saw once...

The car had two different C-Pillars on it. Yes, You read that right. One side had the Bullet Mustang C-Pillars, The other Side had the Normal V6/GT/Cobra C pillars (Yes, There was a difference). How that could have happened is beyond me. The guy said Ford even offered to buy the car back for a much larger sum then what he bought the car for....He refused.

Obviously your problem is not nearly as severe, but goof ups like that just happen sometimes.

Hah! Are you kidding? Those are like upside down stamps! They're worth like 10,000% their face value. If the mustang holds even a tenth of that, he'll be a rich man in the future. You could be the man with the only mustang with two different c-pillars!

I'll throw the BS flag.

25 years down the road, that car may be worth maybe $25 more than a similiar correct car.

Darn. And here I thought I had a collectible.... Unless, did you mean $25K more???

Or $2 in gas for a drive to the dealer to have them put one on??

Now, for a production screw-up like putting a SHO EcoBoost into a Fusion...THAT would be worth a few $$!!

I don't think that something that positive should be called a "screw-up" :dribble:

what body style was that car exactly ? because up to 2004 those side panels were swappable plastic panels, and on the 2005 and up models the only thing i see ford doing different was what they did with the quarter glass. No changes to the metal itself

Unless im missing something ....

I checked the fordvehicles.com website and in the photo galleries, the 2011 SHO has the emblem. I can't imagine them deleting only one side.....

I checked while washing my 2011 SHO this afternoon. There is an emblem on the C-pillar on both sides.

Well, I guess that I got a factory mistake. To tell the truth, the SHO badging on this car is already at a minimum so I think that I will get this fixed. It should only involve getting a badge ordered from ford through the dealer.....I hope :frown:

When I sold Dodges in the 70's we got in a Dodge Monaco, that had Dodge emblems trim on the left side, Plymouth emblems and trim on the right and CHRYSLER Interior!

THAT one would not be worth a lot, but it sure would get some looks at a car show today.

As for the 2011 SHO, those are just stick on emblems, the dealer can order them for you and should put them on. If they aren't on right, then have them do it again!

Or bring it as is to the convention and put it in the SHOw, and we can see if the judges catch it! :)

I would LOVE to go to the Convention however I'm in Western Canada and July is one of my busiest months (I'm an IT Manager at a Dodge Dealership) and couldn't spare the time.....

Thank you SO much for the invite though :salute:
