Alright, this is a little wierd and VERY slight, but below 4K, I feel like there's a hiccup or miss at 1/2-3/4 throttle.

When I leave a light, you can't tell in 1st gear, but 2nd and 3rd feel odd. I'll be at 1/2 throttle and I can feel it surge a little. Like I said, very slight but it's driving me f-in crazy.

Plugs, wires and coil pack are 3yrs/30K miles old.

There are no cats on my car.

Front 60K was done 15K miles ago.

I'm thinking it might be a vac line. Haven't checked them yet and she seems to run great at WOT and above 4K. I took it to 7K yesterday with a care in the world!

Opinions?

Have you changed the air filter, and cleaned the MAF latley? My MAF and filter are dirty quick because I dont have my fender well liner in and I dont have the Airbox silencer. I can tell when they need to be changed/cleaned because it develops a slight hiccup at like 2500-3k area, once i change filter and clean MAF it runs like a champ!

I have a K&N filter and keep it clean but I haven't cleaned the MAF in a while. I have the same airbox setup as you do. The oil from the filter probably doesn't help any either.

I'll try that tomorrow,

Thanks!

Oh, no codes BTW.

pull the MAF sensor out, you need a torx 20, clean that biotch off and you should be good to go!

--edit--

dont touch the coils with your fingers, use a qtip and lightly brush over them a time or two only if you need too.

It wont even look like it is dirty, but if you look at the inflow side compared to the out flow side you will see it.

Mine is held on with a phillips!:woo-hoo:

I remember having clean it about 5 years ago, it just didn't register in my brain this time I guess. I grabbed some MAF cleaner tonight so I'll clean it tomorrow and let you know how it went.

Isnt that the truth, huge difference in cleanliness between the sides of the coils. I just use the crc maf sensor spray, I spray and let dry about 4 times and clean out the passage ways.

Let us know what happens!

Well, it was the MAF.

I could see the crap coming off of the sensor when I used the cleaner.

Also, found my problem with the ****** idle. The vac line that goes between the TB and IAC was torn and hanging off!

Clean MAF+New Vac Line=HAPPY SHO!

:thankyou:
