Yeah, I shifted because I never went higher than 6K rpm.
I loved coming out of that last corner in 1st gear.
Probably did not help your times. Taking a Corner at real high RPM's can easily unsettle the car. I found this out my First Auto-X, When I thought it would be a good Idea to take the whole car in 1st gear for the most part. oops!

Oh I know it. My best time was done with the car never leaving 2nd gear. I just had more fun when in 1st:woo-hoo:
Ahh man, that track was such a good road-rage relief valve. I spend most of my time just sitting in traffic and it's so nice to just open the car up.
Yeah, looking back there are two things I would definitely do different now. I would have found someone to get some pictures and I would have had it timed by the second heat. Things to remember for next time.
As far as time I have no clue if I was going any faster (lap-wise) then anyone else but I was sure having fun making a mess of things
I definitely know I could have improved my time on the hairpins by having less of a skid through them and more of a controlled slide.
Definitely sign me up for next time. I got to fix what broke and see what breaks next.

The back wheel coming off the ground and locking up was GREAT! :woo-hoo:

Looks like you guys had fun. Im majorly dissapointed I couldnt make it. I actually didnt even finish the job until 7pm saturday, so there was no way.

Don't worry about it.
Same paypal address: [email protected] or cash in person if you are still bringing your car over here in the next couple weeks. Price will be the $140 again unless we get 20 cars, at that point I will refund everyone who has paid the $10 difference.
