I offered to drive some of your cars. No one would take me up on the offer.

I guess the only thing I kind of regret is not being able to get a lap time. By the time we all started timing the laps I had already called it a day. Too bad for me, towards those last few laps I had the timing pretty good for sliding around all the corners except that far-end switchback. But like I said, if the motor mount had held out, I would have probably done something stupid :)

Probably a good thing it broke when it did.

Yeah, if it wasn't for my PS leak I would have brought mine back out to get a time. I was lucky enought to take the G8 out for a heat and that thing with traction control off=WIN!

Should have slept at a rest area too...I feel left out now.

Holy shit, traffic was horrible. I got sick of it and took a nap at a truck stop as well.

I had a great time. I love watching you new guys beat your cars like you did. That's what they were made for! :3gears:

It was nice meeting all the new faces and catching up with the old ones.
I had a blast out there on the track and in the hotel parking lot.
Now I want to engine swap my Civic, that thing would be a blast with some more power.

Were you spinning the tires coming out of the kink?

Chaz, things are always for sale for the right price. ;-)

by 5 seconds, that's a butt whooping ;)

Not really. Almost everyone was out there in a stock vehicle or it was their first time ever on a track. Plus we didn't time the cars until the last couple heats. Kelvins car looked good, but he also had the right mods and tires and he may have been able to get around there quicker. Next time we will have to time earlier because it would have been nice to see what kumba was doing in his ATX...he was really moving.

Me too, me too!

I had 15" wheels with 60 series tires, stock 1990 brakes, cable shifter, and first time on a track:woo-hoo:

I think I was running the best tires out there, and also the only one with a Quaife or equivalent. Brakes aren't that big of a deal on that track, and I didn't shift once I was up to speed. Left it in second around the whole track.

You were running a wavetrac? Well that makes a ton more sense now..

Yeah, I shifted because I never went higher than 6K rpm.

I loved coming out of that last corner in 1st gear. :3gears:
