How about someone remind me where the hotel is everyone is staying at? Is it a LaQuinta?

2 sets it is then- you will immediatly notice a difference in the car with them on it..we just did 2 sets last week. We'll be up there between 2-3PM.
As for passangers, sometimes they allow it, sometimes they don't. I don't know if Chris knows the answer or not- we may have to wait until we get there Sunday morning.

I can't wait to get those things on:woo-hoo:

Chast and I will be there around 4:30

60% chance of rain from mid-late morning on tomorrow.

I've got the car loaded up and have some errands to run here, then I'll be on the road.

Well I've got my tools, jack, some stands, etc, loaded in my car. I figure if I break something I'll be good to go to get it fixed. Just have to unload the crap before I head out to the track.

Looks like I'll be there around 4:30-5 as well.

I just got back a few minutes ago and wanted to say :thankyou: to everyone that made the Track Day possible. I can't wait for the next one. I'll be there for sure. Everyone there was so cool and a blast to hang out with.

I can't remember the last time I had that much fun.

Watching everyone run their cars was awesome. :woo-hoo:

K-dawg, you ever wanna sell your car, let me know. I'm saying that even after I watched you flog the crap out of your car. :hail:

Kumba, get the motor mount fixed ASAP....You beat your car like a red-headed step child today!

Thanks again everyone for a great time!!!! Hopefully I didn't get too annoying while I was

Thanks to everyone that showed up and participated with anything the last 2 days. You all are the reason we were able to have this thing after all. I honestly think we can set another one up later this year if everyone is still wanting to race. Nice meeting the new guys and always great to see the regulars. I hope everyone had tons of fun and I am glad that in reality nothing really broke and everyone drove to and from the track without issues.

Just got home. Had about an hour of 10-mph bumper to bumper traffic somewhere near ocala, and was so tired from where I didn't sleep the previous night that I pulled over in a rest-stop and slept for about an hour and a half. Funny part was that while I was sleeping in my SHO I kept having nightmares waking me from a dead sleep where (and this is good) I would wake up on the interstate driving my car and crash.

That's kind of f'ed up man. I try to take a nap in my car and I have nightmares of it crashing and killing me. Must have been the burnt rubber/brake smell getting to me.

Rotate/balance tires and fix motor mount are on the immediate future list. If I think I'll be doing this regularly then I need to pick up some track rims and get better tires put on them so it will stick when they get hot. Also needs the typical bolt-on suspension work but eh, have to decide how much I want to do to a daily driver. At least now I have a good baseline reference for what my car will and won't handle should I ever need to use it :)

Besides, what's the point in owning something if you aren't going to go for broke every now and then. That was, without a doubt, the hardest I have ever pushed that car and I was VERY surprised with how well it responded. I truthfully just expected it to slide off the track with the factory suspension. Probably would have if it wasn't for SuperCharged's SFCs. Those really did make a huge difference. Plus it was fun watching them put it on.

Here's the pics I got:

Not the best quality, but works for me.

Holy shit, traffic was horrible. I got sick of it and took a nap at a truck stop as well.

I had a great time. I love watching you new guys beat your cars like you did. That's what they were made for! :3gears:

Good to hear you got back OK

And I told myself I would only go around 3 times and take it REAL easy. Man, I am so proud of my 20 year old Taurus! Handled the day like a champ! I think I went around at least 15 times all said and done!

Ditto for watching YOUR car. Nasty man!:omgsho:
