need help etac broke and freezing cold out

Ok my etac shit the bed and its between 20 and 30 degrees out and I have one out of a 96 lincoln I pluged it in but it will not turn on the blower at all. I swear I seen a post or a link for how to modify one of these to work in the sho but I can't find it searching . If someone could help me I would appreciate it. The model #of the one that was in it is F0DH-19C933-AB and the one I have is F5VH-19C933-AH

How do you know the original EATC failed? It might have been something else. Also there is a few good write ups on here regarding upgrading your EATC from other vehicles, if you search you might find it.

Before we get on busting my balls with searching. I want to let everyone know I will search through as much as I can find before posting, because the least thing we need is 17 posts about the say things ( which struts lol )

I was cruising along and it just shut off. I swaped it with one from jy real quick to see if it was car or unit and the jy one worked fine dint have money to buy it and I thought I seen something about making a lincoln one work and not thump noise

The EATC will run a self test, it's in pretty much every service manual how to do it, start there.

He already tried a new EATC and it worked fine, why would he need to run a self test diagnostic.

I was under the impression the old one was somewhat working, and then the new one did the same thing.

Well everyone I'm a ******* and give myself a double face palm I spelled it etac instead of EATC and thats why I couldn't find it. That's what I get for 3hrs of sleep in two days. Go ahead and delete this thread cause I'm a ******* lol
