2. ill be going straight or around a bend or curve in the road and it randomly pulls that direction of the curve seems mostly when i hit the gas????? sometimes pulls for no reason pretty hard.
3. weird driver tire squeal straight and turns just short little chirp chirps lol hard to explain. only noticeable in town driving.
4. dimmer malfunction? it will turn inside lights on and illuminate bright but wont dim????

Ok so i fixed the power steering, the belt wasn't tight enough dumb a$$ me lol. But its still super sloppy. It also surges, pulls back and forth when im doing like 60 and up. A lil scary lol when cars are coming at you on a country road.

VAPS??? not familiar.... subframe bushings are good, but ball joints are shot. the power steering issue has to be rack related... when i put the motor and trans in the car i had to disconnect the power steering lines, so they bled out ever since then it hasn't been right.

If your Ball Joints are shot and somone has suggested "Check" the Ball-Joints, Conventional wisdom would tell you there is a good chance that could be the problem. I'd replace them ASAP.

You can also check your wheel bearings. We had this issue with Both of our 92's (The car would Pull real hard in one direction mid-turn or during lane changes for a split second, Depending on the Camber of the road). The left front wheel bearing (On both cars) were very loose and had a rediculous amount of play. Replaced them and all is well.

VAPS = "Variable Assist Power Steering".

Fix your ball joints. They'll cause some steering play if they're shot, and if you let them go too long, the ball can come out of the socket. Then you'll be wondering why your car suddenly came to a halt in the middle of a turn, with the wheels pointing in opposite directions. (Happened to me while turning around on a cul-de-sac.)

Flush your power steering fluid too, that may help with the pulsating.

definitely get the front tires off the ground and move the wheel lock to lock a bunch of times. if you didn't do this after hooking the lines back up and filling it you most likely have air bubbles in the system that are causing you some problems as well.

i haven't replaced the ball joints yet because i jacked the car up and the tire has no play at all. I did however notice a bolt missing in the sway bar. Would this account for the play in the steering and the pulling?

I am having the same issue where I feel the steering wheel surge, back and forth at speeds of about 40 and higher on turns. Not at lower speeds. I had the car looked at and was told the steering rack was the issue. I have not had it replaced yet, but will update if it solves the problem. Not my daily driver, so I haven't been in a hurry to get it replaced.
