well as you all know or may not know i have been struggling to get my car into the 10s, i tried every size slick, and played with every possible setting, i have been teased with a hand full of 11.0* passes and tons of 11.1 and 11.2 all at 133+ well tonight wasnt looking good weather wise, rain was in the air. any way i recently changed from a a ITR tranny to GSR tranny and it was just to tall of gears for my 25 inch slicks, so i got some 23s and headed to the track, we barely got time shots started and it poured rain, well it passed and dryed up and they dried the track and we went back to time shots, i really wasnt expecting anything since the only real change i made to the car this week was a boost controller i designed and switching back to the 23 inch slicks, i ran 23s at the start of the season and went 11.1 hitting revlimiter at the 1000 foot with the ITR tranny, any way i get up and do a little tiny burn out, and staged, the lights go and i launch i ride revlimiter to the 60 ft as normal due to nothing but spin and hit second just as i pass the 60ft cones, second spins some but bites decent and i nail third, as the 1/8th mile marker comes up im pleased to see ill be hitting 4th just after it just the way i like it, any way the car was pulling good and i cross the line, over all it felt like a decent pass but nothing special, i get my ticket and BAM 10.74 at 137.80 i was like wtf ?? my best mph ever was a 134.* and my best et a 11.0* so i think its a fluke and go again and bam 10.72 at 137.97 i was like oh yeah :) i then said shit i aint got this on video so i asked my wife to video my next pass, well i didnt get shit for a burn out and u see i actually consider backing up for another but say screw it and just go, well i spun worse but still a 10.80 :) here are pics of the time slips and a vid of the 10.80
sorry for the long story but im so happy, i been trying for so long to get a 10.99 at beaver cause this track is crap for FWD traction and i shattered that goal with a 10.7 and that at beaver is a low 10 at a good track. any way vid and pic

YouTube - 10 80

Very nice times. I love how your car sounds off the line.

Nice job with the boost controller too.

She is running like a champ! I still feel bad for breaking one of the piston rings, but I was blaming that on you anyway.:p

It dosen't matter if you are a HONDA FAN or not, a 10 second STREET car is fast as ****. Anyone that tells you different, has never ridden or drove one.

Whoa that thing is glued on the strip. Real nice run.

Must have CV shafts forged by God himself.

There from The Drive Shaft Shop. I can't remember what "stage" they are, but they haven't shown any sign's of breakage.:p

It sure is fast! Craig's quest for 10's is like my quest for 12's. He did it, now it's my turn.

Can a full weight 91 run a 12 with bolt on's and a 100 shot???

Stay tuned.:p

it is my daily driver yep.. a darn 12 cent bolt broke on my fuel rail and allowed a injector O ring to pop out , leaned out bad and cracked a sleeve, so as brian stated i am now running a benson sleeved block so no more cracking for me. dyno results are posted in the dyno secton as of 5 minutes ago.
