damn *******, send me all your old electronic sensors, don't throw em away! i keep boxes of stuff like that, my old 3.0 crank sensor the wires got mashed up and its no good, and I've already gone through all my cam sensors that I had in stock

you never need any of that type of stuff until the day after you throw it away

I just hope to god the water pump isn't leaking..... that will put me at bankrupt haha

could be a bad DIS too, but I gotta put an eye on that crank sensor and those oil leaks, I really don't think its the cam seals....... i think its something lower

i got a couple spare DIS modules to test out if its still crappy.......


97 bucks was for a Motorcraft sensor from a parts distributor Kelvin, where else and what other brands could u get something like that for? ShoSource is about 20 bucks up on that........ plus these guys had it delivered to me 5 minutes after I ordered it, the retail price on it is like 180.......

There are trouble shooting ways to check the electronics of the DIS and CPS somewhere on here. I used them last year verifying all my electronics.

yeah I could tell the one on there wasn't a motorcraft one

well if it didn't fix it atleast I got a nice crank sensor in reserve

yeah Chris I've gone through and troubleshooted shit before to track down my bad computer, if this doesn't fix it, and throwing a different DIS on doesn't fix it, then I'll be into troubleshooting it

got the engine back into the chassis today, I still gotta install the rear mount/bracket/PS pump tomorrow

been hearing some clanking on the front head, but only one valve was out of spec, it was like .015 and maximum is .014.... I'll let that slide for now, also noticed the valve cover has a crack in it, I left my freshly painted one at my house or I woulda installed that, but it will be ok for a lil bit.. I also can't find anything wrong with the chain tensioner, it looks normal..... looks brand new...... I don't know what to do about that noise, so I just let it ride, maybe its got a restriction in the block

also changed the heater system around, since I bypassed the heater, I had about 4 different pieces of hose, a plastic bypass piece, and a bunch of metal pipes..... I got rid of all that and whent with about 2' of 5/8 hose and just looped it all together, made it more reliable and simple..... I like that

its gonna feel badass to drive again nice and smooth without a busted PP

I'm not going to even attempt a response because we all know what happened last time, lol. I will be up there this year but I think I am done petitioning for a FL convention. They did make it to Atlanta, closest for and FL folks.
